I've seen up to now a wide collection of videos of him, enough so that I can say, he loves to play around with his guitar. When he isn't performing one of his songs, he is talking with the guitar to his fans. There is no need for skill in that moment. Just the feeling, the connection... Maybe a ten year old can play it. But does it matter in this moment in time? I don't think so.

But like I said, most people may consider this as a solo because guitar is the main instrument and there's just a percussion base.

Nowadays, it depends on what you consider a solo and not what realy the term means, same happens with vocabulary, no one read a whole dictionary, and even if you did, different dictionarys have different definitions, so I can't say you're wrong anyway either.
