no, what I know about geology and plate tectonics and earth sciences, I acquired from actually going to a university and graduating with honors, not sitting on my fat ass all day long and acquiring all my knowledge from reading bullshit articles on wikipedia and google like you obviously do so well. Prove HAARP exists instead of posting vague nonsense on youtube.
dude, if you're going to try to keep pounding at me with your childish name calling, at least show some proof of your assumptions, your own opinions don't make it factual.
This may be inapropriate to say in light of so many deaths and distruction in the area, but to me it is fascinating to see the wave patterns set up in the fountain by the vibration of the earth. I don't know much about earthquakes, but seeing this tells me that though the strength may have been changing, the frequency of the shaking must have remained close to the same throughout the event. Very interesting! Thanks for posting!!!
Wow cool! I kind of wondered if it would scale up and be aplicable to tsunami. Now I know! Thanks!
...wish I had the money and physical ability to go to college and study this kind of thing(study lots of things actually). It would be fun to learn about things, and perhaps be able to come up with something which could save lives or have a positive effect on the world.
yeah. even though i know what earthquakes do, i've always been fascinated by them, and i wish i could find the time to go to school and study them. it was something else to watch and notice the patterns in the water from the earth moving underneath it.
There are other videos of swimming pools during earthquakes that show dramatic stuff going on. This video is pretty calm and non-violent.

Actually, this is how tsunamis form, and this is a method of studying them and seeing what landforms will be affected by it.
Obviously, wave kinetics is very highly observed, and not to mention prevalent, esp. since the 2006 tsunami in SE Asia.
