clear rear projection film (which is what that glass plane has on it) is nothing new, Movie studios made the stuff to project images on for special effects years ago. It actually all came about as an undersirable accident when making actual camera film. The new stuff is the same glass bead found in common Projection Screens only that its embeded in clear film. Scotch tape with glass beads that all. You simple use a projector to shine your video on it. cool but nothing new.

Yeah, looks very cool and futuristic, but I don't see how such a display could ever replace a normal monitor or tv. The image quality will always be worse, due to the transparent picture.

But this could be very useful when it comes to HUDs, e.g. in the front window of a car (speed, navigation data, ...) or a helmet for next-gen soldiers.

The processors are pretty nice, but the display seems to attract more attention.

It look cool, though technology is pretty standard.

The glass seems to a special type of tinted glass (pseudo one way glass?), a rear end laser projector (either from below or top), and an infrared projector to read your touch (he either was clueless or lied or was lied on by his engineers. at 1:12, you can see the white box below where the infrared projector reside).
