  • Thank U for this video...

  • You did a fantastic job on this tribute to a great person!

  • i like him............but have you noticed something with all the khazar jews?

    -like jeremy, stern

  • i could of cured cancer but they wont talk to me

  • Man, I love the Munsters. I think I like them even more than the Addams Family(who are also majorly cool). I own both series'. They were a fun family. They were functional. Herman and Lily were devoted to each other. Eddie was a nice kid, Grampa was crotchety, yet loving. Even Marilyn(the homely one) was cool. They didn't have to resort to putdowns and crudeness like a lot of shows today.

  • apart from Bela Lugosi, he was the beast dracula ever <3

  • Thanks for the video!

    fantastic actor. A rarity lost.

    Carlos - Rj - Brasil

  • Grampa was off the chain the show was the best my cell phone plays the theme song for the ring tone. so kool you where Al Lewis

  • I bet he was a cool grand dad.

  • FANTASTICAL THEME REDUX!

  • such a nice guy..

  • Al Lewis admitted on the Mancow (Eric Muller) radio show some years back that he was a fan of Stan Laurel. He also said that non one could measure up to Stan.

  • @rcabletn Too bad Mancow sucks

  • whats that medal thing round his neck 1.16 never did understand why vampires wore those can anyone explain

  • whats that medal thing round his neck 1.15

  • who performed this version of the song lol

  • YOU GO GRANDPA!!!

  • When you saw Grandpa, you saw Al Lewis. They were one and the same. Grandpa used to dog Herman for the stupid stuff he did, but Grandpa could be pretty stupid himself. Who cares? It was all for fun! Party on Grandpa!

  • You go Grandpa!!!

  • "Ehh, Hoymin, Hoymin!" I just loved his accent on the Munsters. Classic!

  • 1:00 - 1:15. WTF??? XD

  • long may you roam i wil miss you

  • He was a really COOL Character, Al Lewis .........classic!

  • Pure comic genius!! He was always my second favorite Adams Family character - right after Lurch, lol......

  • This tribute warmed my heart! I remember loving granpa as a kid!

    Great job!!!!

  • A Khazar portraying a bloodsucker... who's a thunk it !

  • Al Lewis and Fred wer the best!!!!!!!!

I wish thay wer still here with us!!!!!!!

  • anyone know if there is a dvd box set of the movies or the tv show out??

  • cool slide show. i go to bed watching this show every night. wow i didn't know he died.

  • Nice tribute. Even though it's not the original theme music, it's still good. Al was hilarious on Howard Stern.

  • The best Actor,, God Bless You, from Mexico

  • he was the best actor of the 20th century. god bless you AL

  • I remember Al Lewis when he was living on Roosevelt Island... I worked for Rent-A-Center at the time... I used to see him sitting in his chair, or at the grocery store their... It was at the time the knicks were competing for the Championship... Everytime we would see him, we would yell.... YO AL, or (Grandpa).... HOW BOUT THEM KNICKS! He would always give a thumbs up to us.... He would call us the RAC Boys.... He will be missed! I miss those days too.... Lot of fun doing deliveries and hits!

  • RIP Al,the man was a true legend!

  • By the way, Thank you for this tribute to Al, Markymunster. He would've liked it.

  • Al was my great uncle. Rest in peace Uncle Al =(.

  • I will miss Al, Fred.

  • Al Lewis and Fred Gwyne were a winning combination. The cool thing about the Munsters was that the show was so incredibly funny, yet, it didn't have the vulgarity and profanity so prevalent in today's comedies and some cartoons. God rest Al and Fred's wonderful souls.

  • Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis

    What a great Pairing

    RIP guys

  • Those 2 Al,Lewis and Fred Gwynne will always have a funny part in our lives because they made people around them laugh for the short time they were here and we miss them both as well as Yvonne DeCarlo 2..RIP all of you, with God's blessing!!

  • Excellent tribute to the late Al Lewis

  • did you see grindhouse? doesn't quentin tarentino look like this guy's son? lol

  • He is very funny

  • Susan Boyle would be perfect in a Munsters remake!

  • Im surprised no one remembers Al as being a scout for the New York Knicks back in the 80's and 90's

  • al lewis was amazing. played that role perfectly. he will be missed dearly. spotted him a few times on carmine st. in downtown Manhattan.

  • Corey Feldman will look just like Grampa Munster in a few years!

  • Yeah but the resemblance between Grampa and Bernie Madoff is a bit scary too, don't ya' think? ;)

Same thing with Herman Munster and John Kerry.

    Seriously though..

The Munsters was a one time deal and it was just so much fun. Grampa and Herman were the Laurel and Hardy of monsterdom.

Losta' fun and some really funny situations. My fave? The one where Herman and Grampa make the go-cart for Eddie. :)

  • Out of all the Gang of the Munsters I really did like Al Lewis his funny smile and how he lived will always be with us.. Goodbye Grandpa!!

  • =( if im corret onlie the 2 kids from the munsters are still alive

  • "Goodbye, America"

    Documentary - AL LEWIS

  • I wonder if he ever went to the casino and played "The Munsters" slot machine.

  • lindo homenaje para el amado abuelo que alegra todas mis madrugadas con su vampirezco humor ...siempre estas en mi corazon...Q E P D TE QUIERE TODA ARGENTINA Y EN ESPECIAL JULIETA MARTINEZ

  • I listened to his weekly program on WBAI-FM 99.5 every Saturday. His wife Karen is now the sole host of the show (she and Al co-hosted for many years until he passed away). It airs every Saturday afternoon from Noon to 1:30. Al was an prisoner rights' activist and fought against police/correction abuse.

  • Grand Al Lewis R.I.P

  • gran actor Al Lewis D.E.P

  • This is my great uncle. Rest in peace, we miss you.

  • an often overlooked side to Al Lewis, was his near obsession with basketball. If he hadn't been an actor, he'd have done well as a scout. He was amazing to listen to when he talked of new prospects at the highschool and college level.

  • Love you Grandpa munster!

  • He was the Grandpa that any kid wants (a funny crazy vampire)

Must of sat too close to it because I ended up looking like Mr. Lewis. I thank the Lord for making him famous and me for looking like Grandpa on the Munsters.

  • aww he was sweet, i miss him

  • Oh, thank you for this. I had the privelege of knowing Grampa. He was...what can I say? One of hte nicest men I had ever met. He gave great flirt, and during hte SAG Commercial strike, showed himself to be a powerful speaker.

  • oh. one of the things they never mentioned is that he held a Doctorate in Child Psychology...

  • Unlike Fred Gwynne, Al Lewis embraced the "Grandpa" character until he died. He will be missed and thank you for the tribute.
