Personally I don't get this one, and don't understand why it's been top video on the coldplay channel for so long.

It's badly animated, and I spotted a few of the traditionally bad Flash shape tweens.

Just personal preference, not for me. There's much better ones out there. Try After Effects for animating. Flash has had its day for that kind of thing.

I think you are right about the flaws.

But I think that this animation is fantastic even with those flaws. I was really touched by this simple animation, and many people seem to agree. If the creator gets to work with better hardware and software, he/she can become a great artist. This is the work of a raw diamond.

Coldplay needs a top notch guitarist to take them to the next level. I'm a guitarist myself, and I know all the guitarists names of my favorite bands. I'd consider Coldplay one of my favorite bands, yet I've no idea what his name is--to me that says a lot. Maybe hire Buckethead to throw in some zany solos into these admittedly bland songs that just get blander after each record. The latest CD being the worst with the lone exception of 'Viva La Vida', which was probably mostly written by Eno.
