When the xbox live update comes along. What is the process of unflashing it?

@ballhogrod pretty much the same as flashing it but when you get to the step where you dump the firmware don't, instead click on the ... button and select your original stock firmware then click differential flash (RESTORE) instead of (PATCH)

@mcme2k7 um this isnt how to jtag an xbox so it can be any kernal

this only mods the firmware of the dvd drive so the actual dashboard has nothing to do with it

can you use firmware toolbox for any drive

@dylan6231 no just hitachi i think any others and jungle flasher would be the right choice (you can use jf for hitachi too)

@XxthegoldenJ1993xX if you live in the USA and you have a Hitachi, Benq or Samsung drive sure but if an xbx live update comes you would have to un flash it, update, and re flash it or send it to me again

a flash from me is $25 +return shipping and $10 +return shipping to restore, update, and re-flash let me know if you really want to have me flash it but i recomend that you do it your self it saves alot of time and money but its up to you

how can i flash back the orginal firmware?

under where you clicked differential flash (PATCH) there should also be one called (RESTORE) so make sure you load the orig.bin and then click that then it will restore it back to the orignial firmware

you are missing the step in the beginning. Im suppossed to put in the file that was created by GDR or should i use an original file that was Downloaded from iXtreme?

wow the vid explained everything i love it but what i didnt get is that idk what 59 versions mean though hahahaha and ican some tell me how drive does the xbox 360 has i ment like u kno hitachi and samsung and there are more than those can some please tell me oh and one more thing i saw a vid b4 and someone put like a pin on the back y u didnt put it on the video is it because its a diff process or its still the same??

ya the 59 versions of the Hitachi is an older version and if you have the 59 then all you have to do is click that check box but if u got the 78 version then just go leave it blank

Hey. Li'l bit of criticism. The first video was nice and clear but the second one (this one) it was hard to work out your voice over the background music. If you post another tutorial and you wish to use background music, may I suggest speaking a little bit louder.
