I never thought there is film-material of this excellent Reno Nevada-version from the bonus tracks of the first album.Does anybody know....oh no...this would destroy my vision!!

Speaking strictly as an illustrator (and straight guy) I must say Richard Thompson has remarkably beautiful facial features and bone structure. His voice is unique too. It would be simply awesome if this guy collaborated with Ian Anderson on an album. I'm just speculating out loud. I'd love to see this entire documentary.

Wild and wonderful! Yes Sandy sure was. Is there any other live footage of her with or without Fairport? I know of the three TV spots included in Sandy at the BBC, please God there must be more.

@rickyhum57 Ricky, I'm Richards biggest fan in my area for sure. I possess every album he has ever put out, and every Fairport album too, and more besides. As for heart, mine is as big as a very big thing trying to be the biggest!

I just don't think that particular solo is very good at all. One bum note that he repeats sounds completely wrong, i cant understand why Joe goes into raptures over it. He probably was referring to some other solo, not that one.

Great to see and hear Sandy Denny, what an absolutely beautiful and distinctive voice, she sang with the Strawbs and even Led Zep at one time, and that voice is instantly recognisable. Why do all the good singers die young? Karen Carpenter is another example....R I P

Seriously though, I am a big RT fan, and if you look really hard at the time lapse photo on HTTHF album cover, of RT standing in front of a city bus, you will see that 'gormless' is EXACTLY what he is trying to portray...superficial pedant that you are, judge not, friend, lest you be judged...you don't know what 'ill mannered' means, clearly.

Fairport convention!!! One of the greatest music bands ever...their music is so powerfull that opens new horizons in music!! We all must thank Sandy, Richard and the rest of the band members for such a terrific moments they gave us....
