For your mic man you should think or look into getting the MXL 4000 thats what I have. And I've learned in my classes that you need actually a monitor that is a 6' or above because a 5' set is pointless unless you have 2 sets really. Also what do you have for your low frequencies ? a minor sub should always do the trick bro! but nice set up!
Yo Eisenhower, if you have any gamer friends, get one of them to buy a Steelseries 7H headset, it's around 80$ on ebay for one, and you try it with your music, vs any 200$ headset, and it's higher quality than most headsets till you try 300$+ studio ones...... there's actually noise in some games, that aren't even visible in other headsets, because the game creator made the noise at a different frequency, it has 50mm drivers and 18hz-28khz movies in it sound clearer than in the theater's also.
I know it's a little late, but I wouldn't dare get a new Neumann mic. They are horrible for the price. They haven't been goo since the 80s. You can get much better microphones fore half the price. Tip: Don't buy preamps or mica from big retailers, they sell what they can make money from, not what sounds good.
@CDZONE6 Never experienced using a Neumann so i'm not 100% sure, i've just read up on them and they seemed to have a pretty good history, I'm broke anyways so no plan to get one anytime soon :0

The monitors and headphones will help to fulfil a complete crap mix, and the only good thing in the room is the axiom board ;-/ Beware of mixing with the $50-Headphones and this (to) small monitors!!! Logic Pro isn't one of them. try Renoise (best tracker out there), or FLstudio (very UI friendly and doesn't glitch up at all compared to Logic). also, Apple software/hardware is junk.
all these accessories are unneeded too. they can help workflow for some, sure, but it doesn't give them a bigger talent boner
@FlexPuke420 I have to reply to this because it makes no sense. The only thing apple has is the eye candy, and software. They use Intel CPU, Intel motherboards, and ATI graphics cards. Intel is best for making music because Intel was designed for more mathmatics in mind while AMD was focused on graphics. FL Studio is best for making the melodies and beats, but not recording vocals and is very hard to master on it. It's UI friendly, but not when it comes to mastering.
@FlexPuke420 Most, if not, all studios use Macs cuz of its performance and they dont have to use registries. You can take a Mac right out of the box and run the most cpu hogging and RAM hogging vsts out there and have no latency issues as all. As for a PC, you have to tweak it for best performance which makes it look like shit, add RAM and a better CPU. I know this because I run my studio off of windows and 10+ years of experience with computers.

i think you mean a shutter effect? let me give you an example, in katy perry's futuristic lover it goes " kiss...me k,k,kiss me. That is a shutter effect. Basically you cut out a section of a sylable, to a vocalist you have already recorded and bounce it onto another track. After that you can copy and paste the sylables to the tempo of the song etc. There are videos on you tube which explain it better than me! But i think that is what you mean?? Hope this helped!

For your mic man you should think or look into getting the MXL 4000 thats what I have. And I've learned in my classes that you need actually a monitor that is a 6' or above because a 5' set is pointless unless you have 2 sets really. Also what do you have for your low frequencies ? a minor sub should always do the trick bro! but nice set up!

Yo Eisenhower, if you have any gamer friends, get one of them to buy a Steelseries 7H headset, it's around 80$ on ebay for one, and you try it with your music, vs any 200$ headset, and it's higher quality than most headsets till you try 300$+ studio ones...... there's actually noise in some games, that aren't even visible in other headsets, because the game creator made the noise at a different frequency, it has 50mm drivers and 18hz-28khz movies in it sound clearer than in the theater's also.

I know it's a little late, but I wouldn't dare get a new Neumann mic. They are horrible for the price. They haven't been goo since the 80s. You can get much better microphones fore half the price. Tip: Don't buy preamps or mica from big retailers, they sell what they can make money from, not what sounds good.

Hi, good job (the vid itself), but why named "Studios" if there's such mostly semiprofessional equipment inside? The monitors and headphones will help to fulfil a complete crap mix, and the only good thing in the room is the axiom board ;-/ Beware of mixing with the $50-Headphones and this (to) small monitors!!! @EisenhowerStudios Studios with computers that can run actually decent software.
Logic Pro isn't one of them. try Renoise (best tracker out there), or FLstudio (very UI friendly and doesn't glitch up at all compared to Logic). also, Apple software/hardware is junk.
all these accessories are unneeded too. they can help workflow for some, sure, but it doesn't give them a bigger talent boner

@FlexPuke420 I have to reply to this because it makes no sense. The only thing apple has is the eye candy, and software. They use Intel CPU, Intel motherboards, and ATI graphics cards. Intel is best for making music because Intel was designed for more mathmatics in mind while AMD was focused on graphics. FL Studio is best for making the melodies and beats, but not recording vocals and is very hard to master on it. It's UI friendly, but not when it comes to mastering.

@FlexPuke420 Most, if not, all studios use Macs cuz of its performance and they dont have to use registries. You can take a Mac right out of the box and run the most cpu hogging and RAM hogging vsts out there and have no latency issues as all. As for a PC, you have to tweak it for best performance which makes it look like shit, add RAM and a better CPU. I know this because I run my studio off of windows and 10+ years of experience with computers.

i think you mean a shutter effect? let me give you an example, in katy perry's futuristic lover it goes " kiss...me k,k,kiss me. That is a shutter effect. Basically you cut out a section of a sylable, to a vocalist you have already recorded and bounce it onto another track. After that you can copy and paste the sylables to the tempo of the song etc. There are videos on you tube which explain it better than me! But i think that is what you mean?? Hope this helped!
