hey not a bad question for someone that dosnt know what they are talking about at least you asked. and to answer that it depends on the quad, some are fully manual where you use a clutch thats on the handle bar, some are semi automatic witch you just click the shift up or down without useing a clutch and some are fully auto where you just drive it like a car for the shifting part.

well the yfz you have to change the oil more. 450r is alot more slower. yfz is a racing quad and doesnt have reverse so if you do trail riding you wouldnt want any of these quads. but if i had to pick i would get the yfz. they are alot more dependable than hondas
