I remember seeing this as a child and thinking it was really creepy. Saw it again recently on the Horror Channel (or somewhere) and was really disappointed at how amateur it seemed.

I remember that they would show this movie in prime time here in the U.S. back in the 70s. As a kid it scared the crap out of me, especially when one of the main characters, Clint Walker, was killed when the Snow Beast rolled those logs down the hill and he was trapped and yelled when the thing got him!!!!!!

Does anyone remember "THE NORLISS TAPES" I saw that when I was about 11 and it scared me to death. I would love to see it again to see if I still find it scary!

Yes, I do remember the Norliss Tapes! It scared the crap out of me too!!!!!!!!!! In my opinion the reason why it was so scary is that the good guy didn't win and the end left us hanging! I mean did Norliss get burned up in the fire at the end or did he become a vampire too? As a kid this was a really scary movie for me!!!!!!!!!
