@skunkapeJC Hicks was a natural progression of Kinison who was a natural progression of Carlin. I strongly believe Hicks is one of the best ever. That doesn't mean he changed comedy though. At that point, there weren't truly a bunch of comics who mimic him, unlike say a Seinfeld, Hedberg, or Cook.
