This might sound strange, but when you're doing vocal only covers, you might want to see about getting the karaoke version so you don't have to fight your way over the vocals in the music. Also, a mistake a lot of people make is that they swallow the mic. They are designed so that you don't have to have it right in your face for it to pick up (at least the kind you use in this vid).
i wouldn't mind seeing this again if redone simply to hear your voice. i felt like some parts you had to fight to be louder then the music playing, but i love your voice anyhow.
