When I see this video, I have such a strange feeling, like I have been there. I smell the burned wood in the cold and some kind of aura surrounding the whole scenery. something dark , something unknown. It's like you wont know what will happen next. Your heart is beating, and in the end you seriously believe you will win. I dont know this video is very special for me.
Reason why panther isn't so fameous is that it wasn't so long in service like tigers. Then its first entered in battle it had technical problems (in battle of kursk most of panthers were lost due technical problems, not by enemy) And btw panther was one reason why hitler waited before starting offense on kursk. (thats was kind mistake since that time gave russians time to dig in. Even tough panther was great but thats reason why Kursk was lost)
Both tanks had techincal problems and those on panther was seen more often since it entered on service right away and so there wasn't time to fix them until 1944. Hard to say which one is better since Tiger was longer on service and they are made for different purposes... Tiger was kind of long range sniper tank while panther was more like counter to T-34 (but all way superior).Tiger is feared because then it entered on battlefield there were nothing that could kill it from front

1. air power was major part in germanys downfall, once the luftwaffe was reduced to a few squadrens they were nearly useless, this meant that the p47's could roam of france nearly unchallanged taking out tanks and convoys as the wished. nearly the same thing in the east where the literally massive russian air force had free roam. germany did well to stand up to the russians and the rest, if you look purely at numbers of tanks and aircraft posessed by the russians americans and british.
if you want to know what the better tank, just ask your self, if you want to attack a tiger in a T 34 or the other way around. I my opinion was the German war technic guiding in almost every way.

The Panther was a fine weapon. Over engineered but more than capable on the battlefield. The Allies used mediocre weapons in superior numbers to defeat superior weapons in limited numbers.

She was the best. Why??? Sloaping armor 75mm main gun. 2 mgs. Schurzen armor plates zimmerit coating. But! Ausf G was even better. she had sighting mechanism so??? Panther was outnumbered but she ven can defeat all 34 in sight. so? 1 panther whit veteran crew could defeat 10 t 34! Thats what i call German Quality! Nice kitty. Nice tank. Germany should consider itself fortunate to exist. While it was dilligently stacking more armor and machining barrels, The US built nuclear weapons and detonated them on Germany's key ally, Japan, instead of Germany itself. Do you know why? Japan is isolated and there was no risk in harming any US allies, as the weapons were not 100% predictable in terms of explosive yield and radioactive fallout in relation to atmospheric factors. In reality, Germany had 0% chance of victory, despite its guns.
@NanoVirus13 Germany was fought by 53 diffrent countries with only 2 allies (one that turned on them later in the war) and Japan, For 6 years Germany actually went toe to toe vs the world. If the mistakes that were made were not made, they likely could've won anyway. The truth is if you study the secret weapons of germany, you would find if the world went on 1 more year they could've turned the tide. You'll also find they had the secrets to unlocking the Nuclear bomb
I always thought that Finland, Romania, and Hungary were allied with Germany at one point or other during the war. Italy and Japan were allied with it at the start. Austria had been "absorbed", but being so, could also be considered an "Ally". Didn't around 1 million Russians fight for Germany, and weren't half of the SS divisions non-German? Many countries joined the Allies in the waning days (53 countries). Main fight was Germany vs Russia. 75% of German troops there.

The scientists in charge of what was the nuclear bomb decided it would take to long to perfect, they believed the war would be over by the time they perfected it. The very reason even the US had perfected this weapon was because several key scientists left germany and were working for the US. Also if it wasnt for germany, we would've not had the jet age.
@Bobbyo60 Right you are but they never put it into a plane that outperformed there propeller driven ones. Germans designed a better engine and put it into a plane that was superior. I think thats were he was going with it.
@GermanWarRemembrance I would like to point out that the jet engine was actually invented in the UK before german scientists were able to get it working, was even an Italian jet before germany's. They both shelved it for monetary reasons.

@GermanWarRemembrance T34 was medium tank and of-course no match for Tiger and Panther which ones were heavy tanks (Only in German classifications Panther as medium tank) but t34 was best tank in his class. And most important thing - soviet "tankist" go in battle after 2hours training.. Btw good video
@XXAndriuchaXX The lack of training was out of necessity, rather than a lack of complexity of the T-34. While it was simple to produce, it was actually harder to operate than German armor, due to poor optics, a cramped interior, and bad vision to the outside. All Russian tankers suffered badly because they were very poorly trained. German Panzers were able to defeat the superior T-34s and KV 1s in 1941 because they were well trained and experienced, the Russians were clueless as to how to fight.

@NanoVirus13 They detonated sucessfully a nuclear device over an already surrended country to test it. But Japan air defenses were completely down, you didn't have ballistic missiles like today. You had to fly a plane and sucessfully drop a bomb with high precision, and the bomb didn't have to be destroyed before the nuclear reaction. If now you have jet planes and ballistic missiles is thanks to German scientists and engineers.
@NanoVirus13 Firstly, the german scientists were developed the first international ballistic missile (the V-2) in which case it could carry an nuclear ogive and attack the US from Europe; also, you can see the "Amerika Bomber", an aircraft that was created for a strict use: drop an atomic bomb over New York.
Secondly and finally, the northamericans didn't attack atomically the german land because of the scientists and the technology stolen to the Third Reich by the USSR and them.

@NanoVirus13 The US-Bomb could only be finished with german uranium that was captured from an u-boot in may 1945 at the american coast... the german uranium were the only known/available reserves for the US and Soviets too, the russian bomb was built by german uranium too later, because the uran was in east germany. USA didn't know of their ressources in Wyoming/New Mexico. There was never a real nuclear danger for germany, because it was in the heart of europe and btw im polish ;)
and Europe was the heart of the world than, US became a "superpower" after their nuclear attack. The UK was the big power before because of their colonies and so on, all white americans are europeans anyway. However, now its over with the US worldpower status, over 14.300.000.000.000$ debt, many ppl dont trust the $ anymore because the fed buys U.S. Treasuries (=buying own debt, virtual printing money), I hope China will be a "good" Nr. 1 and we wont see such big wars again in the 21st century.
As already mentioned, USA "stole" german techs. US-commandos went ahead with troops and seized all kinds of (undamaged) german weapons and brought them to the USA, like the first REAL U-Boot XXI, jet-fighters/bombers (Me 262/Arado Ar 234), V2 / Rockets (von Braun developed the V2 and later the US-Space rockets) yea most scientists worked for the US, a few for Stalin, last ones often had no other option, lucky that the most ppl fled to the west away from russians and Stalin did only get few stuff
Oh and don't forget the medicine and chemicals ;) Germans developed Demerol (Pethidin/meperidine) and Methadon, which I have to take every day. The first synthetic opioid (Demerol). Methadon wasn't used in Germany first, than the US took all documents and patents (these on methadon, the USA sold the patent than in 1946 to the US company "Lilly" which marketed it succesful as Dolophine. The Panther has been better in each category facing the T34, except one; it got clearly outnumbered. If the Wehrmacht would have the 1:1 quantity of the allied equipment they would have conquered the world.
Historians say that the Wehrmacht never lost a battle when they weren't outnumbered.

@ussr5665 every History men say the Panther was better than the T-34. Für mich ist der T-34 nur Meterware man haud rund 500 Stück pro Tag raus. Er ist einfach nur scheiße weil er der inbegriff von Quantität ist. Der Panther war ein Meisterstück im Panzerbau er war bis 1955 unübertroffen. Du bist einer der keine Ahnung vom Panzerbau hat einfach erbärmlich. Beflecke nicht den Ruhm des Legendären Panther Panzer mit deiner scheiß Fließbandware.
@ussr5665 That is doubtful. The only thing great thing about the T34 was its sloped armor and mass production. The Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 could take the t34 miles out.
The Panther had a good gun and armor, It could do the same thing.
If you truly believe the t-34 is so great look at the casualty reports.
The fact is the only great thing about the t-34 was its easy ability to mass produce.
If you mass produced Panthers, or Tigers, history would have been diffrent.
@GermanWarRemembrance The real problem was that Germany had to fight on 3 fronts at the same time (Italian, West and Eastern fronts), the KD ratio of tanks on western front was 10/1 (20 for Allies, 1 for Germany), in the Eastern Front the KD ratio was 15/1. with a KD ratio of 25/1 only on the Eastern Front Germany would have overwhelmed USSR and replenished their forces even not being able to mass produce their tanks (in fact no German tank was actually ever 'mass' produced)
The germans almost got the panthers in mass production. If the allies hadn't of bombed the panther and tiger factories the panther would of been mass produced. I dout the tiger and tiger II would of been mass produced due to the special parts needed and resources.

I read in a book a battle just out side of the poland i think.. But anyway the russians attacked german panzer division that was equiped with panthers. Germans had 120 tanks, Russians had 500+. Gess who won, the germans did. With their superior tactics and tanks they lost 11 panthers, 6 were later repaired. Russians lost 400 tanks!!! To me that's incredable, just goes to show... Germans were the best.
@GermanWarRemembrance The life span of T34 was measured in days, just a metal cofin, it was MASS PRODUCED , the great thing about T34 it was its large tracks, speed, infantry support(special attachments on its slopes), sloped armour that worked before the TIGERS/PANTHERS came to the soviet fields, but overall it was bad, BAD TURRET, poor visibility, no radio and its gun had to be very close(TIGER would knocked it out from large distances), no match for TIGERS/PANTHERS.Kursk , t34 great losses
If Germany had attacked Russia 1 month earlier, I guarantee you they would have won the war. Nature in the form of the onset of the russian winter was Germany's undoing, nothing else. Stalingrad was about to fall when the harsh winter freeze set in. Even 2 weeks earlier might have done it. It was that close.
@ussr5665 The Soviet casualties where 15 tanks lost versus 1 german tank lost on the Eastern Front, the T-34 was good only until 1942 because it had the unexpected sloped armor that the Panzer III 50 mm cannon could not pierce above 500 metres. In the spring of 1942 Germany started to deploy upgunnerd Panzer IV Ausf. G which could easily destroy the T-34 from any distances. Also from late 1942 they started deploying Panzer IV Ausf. H, Tigers and Panther s which were even better.

selbst in den aufzeichnungen, büchern von churchill und von Ian Kershaw kann man vieles nachlesen und da willste mir doch sicherlich nicht sagen sie sind/ waren pro deutsch. natürlich kann man akten einsehen und vor allem auch viele nach 1989 in der ehemaligen sowjetunion. also vielleicht solltest du dich mal lieber umfangreicher mit der thematik beschäfftigen bevor du churchill noch zum heligen ausrufen lässt.

in terms of significant numbers for the germans the panther was the best and i touched one at the ottawa war museum but i dont have to say much for someone to mention the tiger 2
1. Times are changing - it is simply a matter of fact that the current display of WW2 is a onesided & a incomplete picture (I even say some lies are included as well!)

If they scrapped the ideas of Tigers, King Tigers, and Hunting Tigers and built a ton of these, I think the war would've been quite a bit tougher for the Allies.. this tank was amazing. Only problem is they didn't have enough of them and didn't have time to work out the bugs.

der beste war der die phanter und jagdpanther weil sie viel zuverlässiger waren und ihre 75 mm konnte genauso einen schaden anrichten wie die 88 mm. von der panzerung haste natürlich recht die war beim tiger stärker, wobei die schrägpanzerung besser ist, sparste ehrheblich.

eine welteroberung war nie vorgesehen solche pläne gibt es nirgends. Die deutsche Armee war in ihrer Konzeption 1939 in keinster weise für einen Krieg gegen staaten der alliierten ausgelegt. viel zu wenig einheiten waren motoriersiert, die meisten gschütze wurden per pferde gezogen. ganz zu schweigen von der marine die wahr gar nicht für sowas ausgelegt.
der einmarschpläne für polen und sowjetunion sind ja auch eher kurzfristig ausgearbeitet wurden

Hitler war ja auch der festen Überzeugung das Großbritannien (und damit auch USA) nicht gegen Deutschland in den Krieg ziehen würde. Er sah in denen auch eine nach dem damaligen Rassenempfinden ebenbürtige Rasse.

@natsplit: Churchill ist einer der größten Kriegsverbrecher neben Hitler und Mao, aber keiner spricht es aus weil der Sieger bekanntlich die geschichte schreibt. Churchill hat die sinnlosen Massaker an Gefangenen befohlen, Churchill wusste das ein Krieg aufkommen würde und tat nichts dagegen denn er wollte diesen um sich an Deutschland zur rächen. Chruchill hab die Befehle für den sinnlosen angriff auf Dresden, nicht weils kriegsentscheidend war sondern deutschlands kulturgut nr1.
Der Phanter war ja auch die Vorlage für alle weiteren modernen Panzern. Wir müssen aber auch den Russen Resepekt Zollen, denn die Schrägpanzerung wurde vom T-34 abgeschaut.
Der Panther war der beste Panzer, weil er nicht so schwerfällig war wie der Tiger, der trotzdem auch große Leistungen vollbrachte.
@Radagis2 - Abkupfern ist ja nicht verboten, das machen alle. Man müsste schon doof sein, es nicht zu tun. Der T34 ist übrigens eine ziemlich exakte Kopie des M 1928 von Walter Christie (USA), der hat nämlich die schräge Panzerung erfunden, sowie die Federung.
Richtig nur Die Amipanzer waren durch die Bank weg scheiße, erst als sie vom Leo ihren panzer abgekupfert hatten, bekamen sie nen guten Panzer. Pershing klammere ich aus, seine Kanone war gut aber der Rest nicht, hat sich auch in Korea gezeigt total schlecht im Gelände usw..
@Radagis2 - Die Amerikaner haben anfangs einfach nicht die Genialität von Christie's Konstruktionen erkannt, er soll aber auch ein unangenehmer Verhandlungspartner gewesen sein. Sie wollten übrigens auch nicht den Mustang Jäger haben, der sich bekanntlich als eine der kriegsentscheidenden Waffen herausstellen sollte. Genauso war es mit der Britischen 17-Pfünder Kanone. In beiden Fällen war man anfangs der Meinung, daß "WIR doch nicht auf dieses ausländische Kriegsgerät angewiesen sind"
die ganze deutsche Kriegstechnik wurden von den Amis, Engländer und Russen kopiert: Von der V1 bis zum Panzer und vom U-Boot bis zum Schlachtschiff und Flugzeuge auch noch=eigentlich alles
mit mancher deutscher Technik sind die allies erst nach jahrzehnten klar gekommen. wir haten großartige Wissenschaftler und Techniker nicht umsonst haben sie alle mitgenommen.

Reason why panther isn't so fameous is that it wasn't so long in service like tigers. Then its first entered in battle it had technical problems (in battle of kursk most of panthers were lost due technical problems, not by enemy) And btw panther was one reason why hitler waited before starting offense on kursk. (thats was kind mistake since that time gave russians time to dig in. Even tough panther was great but thats reason why Kursk was lost)

Both tanks had techincal problems and those on panther was seen more often since it entered on service right away and so there wasn't time to fix them until 1944. Hard to say which one is better since Tiger was longer on service and they are made for different purposes... Tiger was kind of long range sniper tank while panther was more like counter to T-34 (but all way superior).Tiger is feared because then it entered on battlefield there were nothing that could kill it from front

1. air power was major part in germanys downfall, once the luftwaffe was reduced to a few squadrens they were nearly useless, this meant that the p47's could roam of france nearly unchallanged taking out tanks and convoys as the wished. nearly the same thing in the east where the literally massive russian air force had free roam. germany did well to stand up to the russians and the rest, if you look purely at numbers of tanks and aircraft posessed by the russians americans and british.

The Panther was a fine weapon. Over engineered but more than capable on the battlefield. The Allies used mediocre weapons in superior numbers to defeat superior weapons in limited numbers.

Germany should consider itself fortunate to exist. While it was dilligently stacking more armor and machining barrels, The US built nuclear weapons and detonated them on Germany's key ally, Japan, instead of Germany itself. Do you know why? Japan is isolated and there was no risk in harming any US allies, as the weapons were not 100% predictable in terms of explosive yield and radioactive fallout in relation to atmospheric factors. In reality, Germany had 0% chance of victory, despite its guns.

@NanoVirus13 Germany was fought by 53 diffrent countries with only 2 allies (one that turned on them later in the war) and Japan, For 6 years Germany actually went toe to toe vs the world. If the mistakes that were made were not made, they likely could've won anyway. The truth is if you study the secret weapons of germany, you would find if the world went on 1 more year they could've turned the tide. You'll also find they had the secrets to unlocking the Nuclear bomb

I always thought that Finland, Romania, and Hungary were allied with Germany at one point or other during the war. Italy and Japan were allied with it at the start. Austria had been "absorbed", but being so, could also be considered an "Ally". Didn't around 1 million Russians fight for Germany, and weren't half of the SS divisions non-German? Many countries joined the Allies in the waning days (53 countries). Main fight was Germany vs Russia. 75% of German troops there.

The scientists in charge of what was the nuclear bomb decided it would take to long to perfect, they believed the war would be over by the time they perfected it. The very reason even the US had perfected this weapon was because several key scientists left germany and were working for the US. Also if it wasnt for germany, we would've not had the jet age.

@XXAndriuchaXX The lack of training was out of necessity, rather than a lack of complexity of the T-34. While it was simple to produce, it was actually harder to operate than German armor, due to poor optics, a cramped interior, and bad vision to the outside. All Russian tankers suffered badly because they were very poorly trained. German Panzers were able to defeat the superior T-34s and KV 1s in 1941 because they were well trained and experienced, the Russians were clueless as to how to fight.

@NanoVirus13 They detonated sucessfully a nuclear device over an already surrended country to test it. But Japan air defenses were completely down, you didn't have ballistic missiles like today. You had to fly a plane and sucessfully drop a bomb with high precision, and the bomb didn't have to be destroyed before the nuclear reaction. If now you have jet planes and ballistic missiles is thanks to German scientists and engineers.

@NanoVirus13 Firstly, the german scientists were developed the first international ballistic missile (the V-2) in which case it could carry an nuclear ogive and attack the US from Europe; also, you can see the "Amerika Bomber", an aircraft that was created for a strict use: drop an atomic bomb over New York.
Secondly and finally, the northamericans didn't attack atomically the german land because of the scientists and the technology stolen to the Third Reich by the USSR and them.

@NanoVirus13 The US-Bomb could only be finished with german uranium that was captured from an u-boot in may 1945 at the american coast... the german uranium were the only known/available reserves for the US and Soviets too, the russian bomb was built by german uranium too later, because the uran was in east germany. USA didn't know of their ressources in Wyoming/New Mexico. There was never a real nuclear danger for germany, because it was in the heart of europe and btw im polish ;)

The UK was the big power before because of their colonies and so on, all white americans are europeans anyway. As already mentioned, USA "stole" german techs. US-commandos went ahead with troops and seized all kinds of (undamaged) german weapons and brought them to the USA, like the first REAL U-Boot XXI, jet-fighters/bombers (Me 262/Arado Ar 234), V2 / Rockets (von Braun developed the V2 and later the US-Space rockets) yea most scientists worked for the US, a few for Stalin, last ones often had no other option, lucky that the most ppl fled to the west away from russians and Stalin did only get few stuff

Oh and don't forget the medicine and chemicals ;) Germans developed Demerol (Pethidin/meperidine) and Methadon, which I have to take every day. The first synthetic opioid (Demerol). Methadon wasn't used in Germany first, than the US took all documents and patents (these on methadon, the USA sold the patent than in 1946 to the US company "Lilly" which marketed it succesful as Dolophine. I wish Poland (my parents are polish and my whole family lives there) had such a list of important technologys.

The Panther has been better in each category facing the T34, except one; it got clearly outnumbered. If the Wehrmacht would have the 1:1 quantity of the allied equipment they would have conquered the world.
Historians say that the Wehrmacht never lost a battle when they weren't outnumbered.

@ussr5665 That is doubtful. The only thing great thing about the T34 was its sloped armor and mass production. The Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 could take the t34 miles out.
The Panther had a good gun and armor, It could do the same thing.
If you truly believe the t-34 is so great look at the casualty reports.
The fact is the only great thing about the t-34 was its easy ability to mass produce.
If you mass produced Panthers, or Tigers, history would have been diffrent.

@GermanWarRemembrance The real problem was that Germany had to fight on 3 fronts at the same time (Italian, West and Eastern fronts), the KD ratio of tanks on western front was 10/1 (20 for Allies, 1 for Germany), in the Eastern Front the KD ratio was 15/1. with a KD ratio of 25/1 only on the Eastern Front Germany would have overwhelmed USSR and replenished their forces even not being able to mass produce their tanks (in fact no German tank was actually ever 'mass' produced)

I read in a book a battle just out side of the poland i think.. But anyway the russians attacked german panzer division that was equiped with panthers. Germans had 120 tanks, Russians had 500+. Gess who won, the germans did. With their superior tactics and tanks they lost 11 panthers, 6 were later repaired. Russians lost 400 tanks!!! To me that's incredable, just goes to show... Germans were the best.

@GermanWarRemembrance The life span of T34 was measured in days, just a metal cofin, it was MASS PRODUCED , the great thing about T34 it was its large tracks, speed, infantry support(special attachments on its slopes), sloped armour that worked before the TIGERS/PANTHERS came to the soviet fields, but overall it was bad, BAD TURRET, poor visibility, no radio and its gun had to be very close(TIGER would knocked it out from large distances), no match for TIGERS/PANTHERS.Kursk , t34 great losses

If Germany had attacked Russia 1 month earlier, I guarantee you they would have won the war. Nature in the form of the onset of the russian winter was Germany's undoing, nothing else. Stalingrad was about to fall when the harsh winter freeze set in. Even 2 weeks earlier might have done it. It was that close.

@ussr5665 The Soviet casualties where 15 tanks lost versus 1 german tank lost on the Eastern Front, the T-34 was good only until 1942 because it had the unexpected sloped armor that the Panzer III 50 mm cannon could not pierce above 500 metres. In the spring of 1942 Germany started to deploy upgunnerd Panzer IV Ausf. G which could easily destroy the T-34 from any distances. Also from late 1942 they started deploying Panzer IV Ausf. H, Tigers and Panther s which were even better.

selbst in den aufzeichnungen, büchern von churchill und von Ian Kershaw kann man vieles nachlesen und da willste mir doch sicherlich nicht sagen sie sind/ waren pro deutsch. natürlich kann man akten einsehen und vor allem auch viele nach 1989 in der ehemaligen sowjetunion. also vielleicht solltest du dich mal lieber umfangreicher mit der thematik beschäfftigen bevor du churchill noch zum heligen ausrufen lässt.

You need to understand that looking back does NOT only mean to be sorry. Germany was treated badly after wwI.
Look also back in respect and honor for your own troops who suffered enormous pain for their acquittal.

in terms of significant numbers for the germans the panther was the best and i touched one at the ottawa war museum but i dont have to say much for someone to mention the tiger 2

If they scrapped the ideas of Tigers, King Tigers, and Hunting Tigers and built a ton of these, I think the war would've been quite a bit tougher for the Allies.. this tank was amazing. Only problem is they didn't have enough of them and didn't have time to work out the bugs.

der beste war der die phanter und jagdpanther weil sie viel zuverlässiger waren und ihre 75 mm konnte genauso einen schaden anrichten wie die 88 mm. von der panzerung haste natürlich recht die war beim tiger stärker, wobei die schrägpanzerung besser ist, sparste ehrheblich.

eine welteroberung war nie vorgesehen solche pläne gibt es nirgends. Die deutsche Armee war in ihrer Konzeption 1939 in keinster weise für einen Krieg gegen staaten der alliierten ausgelegt. viel zu wenig einheiten waren motoriersiert, die meisten gschütze wurden per pferde gezogen. ganz zu schweigen von der marine die wahr gar nicht für sowas ausgelegt.
der einmarschpläne für polen und sowjetunion sind ja auch eher kurzfristig ausgearbeitet wurden

Hitler war ja auch der festen Überzeugung das Großbritannien (und damit auch USA) nicht gegen Deutschland in den Krieg ziehen würde. Er sah in denen auch eine nach dem damaligen Rassenempfinden ebenbürtige Rasse.
Sein Plan war von Anfang an "Deutschland Europa und England die Welt"
Zum Glück hat Churchill das gewusst zu verhindern.

Quatsch das was wirklich nachlesbar ist der lebensraum im osten. Die anderen Feldzüge sind aus der Situation heraus kurzfristig entstanden. Einen Europa Plan gab es genauso wenig wie einen Weltplan. Ja klar indem er einen sinnlosen Krieg in kauf genommen hat um jeden Preis Deutschland vernichten wollte, die Zivilbevölkerung aus der Luft masakriert, tolle Leistung und dadruch sein fuck empire vernichtet.

wenn du schon so fleißig dabei bist rechtes gedankengut zu streuen mach die auch die mühe dich vorher halbwegs mit der geschichte auseinanderzusetzten.
hitler war der festen überzeugung das gb neutral bliebe. das ist auch der einzige grund warum er den britten den rückzug aus frankreich erlaubte. und darüber wer den sinnlosen krieg angefangen hat müssen wir doch eigentlich überhaupt nicht diskutieren.

das hat mich rechten gedankengut überhaupt nichts zu tun, wenn man nur deutsche lieratur liest ist es kein. daser an daran glaubte mit einem bündnis mit england ist mir bewusst, nur mit dem deutschen hasser chruchill war dies nicht zu machen obwohl es in gb sehr viele symphatisanten gab. Ach ja und ich setze mich mit geschichte schon fast mein ganzes leben auseinander, man muss nur mal diverse akten lesen, da kommt man zu einem viel komplexeren bild. deine nazikeule kannste dir sparen.

@natsplit: Churchill ist einer der größten Kriegsverbrecher neben Hitler und Mao, aber keiner spricht es aus weil der Sieger bekanntlich die geschichte schreibt. Churchill hat die sinnlosen Massaker an Gefangenen befohlen, Churchill wusste das ein Krieg aufkommen würde und tat nichts dagegen denn er wollte diesen um sich an Deutschland zur rächen. Chruchill hab die Befehle für den sinnlosen angriff auf Dresden, nicht weils kriegsentscheidend war sondern deutschlands kulturgut nr1.

Der Phanter war ja auch die Vorlage für alle weiteren modernen Panzern. Wir müssen aber auch den Russen Resepekt Zollen, denn die Schrägpanzerung wurde vom T-34 abgeschaut.
Der Panther war der beste Panzer, weil er nicht so schwerfällig war wie der Tiger, der trotzdem auch große Leistungen vollbrachte.

@Radagis2 - Abkupfern ist ja nicht verboten, das machen alle. Man müsste schon doof sein, es nicht zu tun. Der T34 ist übrigens eine ziemlich exakte Kopie des M 1928 von Walter Christie (USA), der hat nämlich die schräge Panzerung erfunden, sowie die Federung.

Richtig nur Die Amipanzer waren durch die Bank weg scheiße, erst als sie vom Leo ihren panzer abgekupfert hatten, bekamen sie nen guten Panzer. Pershing klammere ich aus, seine Kanone war gut aber der Rest nicht, hat sich auch in Korea gezeigt total schlecht im Gelände usw..

@Radagis2 - Die Amerikaner haben anfangs einfach nicht die Genialität von Christie's Konstruktionen erkannt, er soll aber auch ein unangenehmer Verhandlungspartner gewesen sein. Sie wollten übrigens auch nicht den Mustang Jäger haben, der sich bekanntlich als eine der kriegsentscheidenden Waffen herausstellen sollte. Genauso war es mit der Britischen 17-Pfünder Kanone. In beiden Fällen war man anfangs der Meinung, daß "WIR doch nicht auf dieses ausländische Kriegsgerät angewiesen sind"

the Panther has been the best tank until 1955. this masterpiece can be seen as the true father of all modern tanks like the Leopard, Abrams, Challenger, T90, Leclerc, Merkava, etc.
german technology leads the way. Russian crews had the order during World War II to capture as much Panthers as they could and use them as their own.
at the end of the war it was the Panther that defended germany ...

Sehr geiles Video. Der Panther war denk ich vom Gesamteindruck der beste deutsche Panzer des 2. Weltkrieges. Hab in Munster mal neben einen gestanden - ich war erschrocken wie riesig der in "freier Wildbahn" wirkt,
Furchteinflößen muss er gewesen sein.

Der "Panther" war ein Perfektes zusammenspiel von:
=> Mobilität
=> Schutz und
=> Kampfkraft...
Auf dem Feld war "ER" einer der gefürchtetsten Gegner aus "Stahl" und seine überlange "75-mm-Pak" hatte eine Reichweite, die selbst der "Tiger I" nicht schlagen konnte...!!!
