@TheCAEproductions There were no voltage drops. That's why I used all brass track (all basically new) and all non-oxidized brass splitjaws on all connections. Because I was using DCS equipped enignes I was only pulling around 4 to 7 amps even with the trains running and loaded down so there wasn't enough amperage draw to cause major problems even if it was an issue.
@TheCAEproductions There was by the way a total of three connection points from the transformer on the 1600ft oval. Also, unlike DCC, MTH DCS Protosound boards in each engine compensates for any track voltage variations and goes exactly the same physical speed because they utilize an optical reader on a motor's flywheel to read the actual speed of the enigne. DCS equipped engines go the same physical speed at 16v as they do at 24v. Of course with DCC that isn't the case.
i would love to have a building that size so much space may me when i win my millions in the lottery i will get one but nice what is that building going to be?
Why is there only one set of power leads on this long line? You don't get voltage drops?

@roberttrains Hi, that is an abandoned retail store location in a local mall. Not sure if it's slated to become anything yet.
