  • Dumbshit forever

  • did he say you're welcome to the guy in the middle? does this mean that the contestants cheated in order to be back the following week? will i keep asking rhetorical questions on youtube?

  • I take it back the video is FAKE he does say your welcome to the middle guy... BOOOOO to fake vids. Thumbs down

  • Why would you not like it? That's awsome!!!

  • What if they planned it XD

  • that number's usually 2601...

  • push 7 for a awesome experience

  • Kebert Xela

  • He's a nice guy

  • saying KEBERT XELA will make him disappear

  • Suck it Trebek

  • How did I get here from card tricks???

  • 0:37 "You're welcome"

great guy, he could've sent the other two packing, instead he let them win $16k a piece and play for more, class act all the way

  • @MrTroydninja This is YouTube, not a fucking chapel. People have personalities, and expect to be allowed to present themselves in any manner they choose. This includes cussing.

The internet is free. If you don't like it, don't come on the internet.

  • i declare this property FJ property!

  • @MrLazzy57

    -_-

  • @MrLazzy57 Shut up faggot.

  • Funny JUnk

  • ive always wondered what would happen when theres a tie..

  • doesn't he earn more if he bests all

    ?

  • He looked like such a tool. Forget him forcing it to be a 3-way tie for betting only 2600. He LOOKED like a tool regardless. Still interesting nonetheless. He outsmarted them pretty well

  • He shouldve been smart and bet 2,601 so he'd win if he got it right.

  • @XeindiorulezFTW I like the op comments theory. He gets to keep the money and make more the next day by beating his competition. I do find it to be a smart strategy if that is the case.

  • So what the dude did the same amount as there double total so they all win? What a tool...

  • like a boss

  • that dude is so full of himself

    "youre welcome" ;D

  • This was on my birthday

  • Scott Weiss is my Computer Programming professor at Mount St. Mary's University!

  • dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun

  • i remember this episode too. Pretty wild.

  • I say they have a bare-knuckled boxing match to determine the winner.

  • march -16- all money began with 16

  • So what happened? They play again?

  • AH HA!

  • I guess he thought he had a good chance of beating both of them in the next game.

  • @BrucePBigelow uhhh...why not bet $2601 and beat them NOW then?

  • @lrj1119 Because maybe he thought he had a good chance of beating both of them in the next game!!??

  • @lrj1119 why not bet $0 and just twiddle your thumbs

  • Now this is fair Jeopardy!

  • Scott Weiss altruism backed-fired, all three returned for the next show and it was won by James Kirby.

  • how did I get here from watching music videos......? O.e

  • I think producers forced players to wager an amount where there would NOT be a tie...cause years ago there were multiple episodes where there were co-champs.

  • 0:41

  • That's a team player!!!

  • So what happened on Monday?

  • He should have put up $2601 just to troll =P

  • @xKazolas That's exactly what I was thinking.

  • @xKazolas Like every other player would? That's not trolling, that's the standard strategy.

  • That was a really nice move actually.

  • Smart move by Scott...he knows he can beat these guys

  • AHA!!!!!!!... yeah thats right

  • That is so FAKE!

  • 0:30 what the hell is he staring at lol

  • I'm pretty sure he did that on purpose, because he knew he was smarter than the other two people so he would rather take his chances with them rather than two new people next game who could possibly be smarter than him.

  • I think they planned this during the wagering commercial break. This is really rare. If I get on Jeoporty, I'm hoping not to get in a 3 way tie.

  • @YoshimanDX Not to be rude, but if one were to get on that show, one would be able to spell "Jeopardy" right! XD I'm just trollin!

  • Good guy Scott, Could have won

Bets exactly to tie so everyone gets paid

  • hell i want to be alex

  • those 3 guys had to be friends, and plan this shit...

  • The second guy looked like he was kinda possessed xD.

  • 0:42 I had to pause it I was laughing so hard!

  • I think Alex had a damn heart attack after he read that last wager.

  • lol james is a history teacher at my school

  • @cod4inator that history teacher at your school is a cheater.

  • in the next episode, who won ?

  • @CrociatoAzzurro james

  • Why didn't he bet one more dollar? Seriously.

  • @BlueMaxx86 Because this way they all get $16,000

  • @BlueMaxx86 This is much cooler.

  • scotts like, hes gonna get his first handjob tonight, courtesy of james and anders LMAO

  • Comment removed

  • I SWEAR ONCE EVERYONE FINISHED IN THE RED ONCE, CAN'T FIND PROOF BUT.IT.HAPPENED.

  • Alex had an orgasm.

  • The last guy is an idiot. You are supposed to put an extra $1

  • @MikeGoddardViewer He did it on purpose. He saw they both had 8000 and he guess they would get the answer right and risk it all which would put them both at 16000, so he figured lets make it a three way tie by betting 2600. He either did it cause a) it never happened before or b) he knew he could beat these players so why get new competition.

  • @Sweetp000433 the reason he did it is so that the other guys could also win 16000. He was being a nice guy.

  • @Sweetp000433 He wasn't extremely far ahead of the others, so why would he just assume that he could win again.

  • @PrinceGale Well he did beat them both and the new competition might have been more of a challenge but I'm betting he did it cause it's never happened before and he couldn't pass it up.

  • @Sweetp000433 So - he did it because he knew he could 'beat' these players - and thus he refused to 'beat' them this time around???????

He did it because he was being nice - since the show had no tiebreak option at that time. IN fact, this incident instigated tiebreaks later on.

  • @PeterFormaini Um..I did put that as an option.

  • 46 people wish they had $16,000 in their pockets right now.

  • I guess he liked his fellow contestants.

  • they did it on purpose.... 0:35 the guy in the red says your welcome to the middle guy.

  • ...your welcome...

  • i bet that made alex trebek's day, he must get bored as shit with jeopardy

  • that i awesome

  • I never understood why you dont just bet it all. Those weird numbers seem pointless.

  • If the last guy meant to tie it, then it's ok. Otherwise, that was really stupid of him to bet 2600. He should have bet 2601 to guarantee a win if he got it right

  • at 0:35 Scott says "your welcome" to James

  • @laurenalainaishot

    Actually, he says "you're welcome."

  • @guyonthebenchful ......

  • Lol why the f*ck would he wager $2600 instead of $2601?

  • @atticbasementattic

    He's a nice guy, that's why.

  • @atticbasementattic because he thought it was funny.....

  • @atticbasementattic He was being nice

  • @dan1614 Trebek went to a different voice there

  • I can't believe this was four and a half years ago

  • what an idiot...the 3 time champ should have added a 1 to the number to win by 1..how pathetic

  • @Thedarkbrother21 He didn't know what they were going to bet beforehand asshole.

  • HELLO !!!!

  • Yay for three-ways!

  • I'm just glad they actually had a plan for that XD he knew that there'd be no complicated twisty whatever to get just one guy, nope! Just everyone come back and try again.

  • actually, this is the first 3 way tie in which all the players had money. the first ever three-way tie occured on the september 11th, 1984 episode of jeopardy. everyone finished with zero.

  • @DrPhilMusic its not a tie when everyone loses

  • @lilsuning i guess that's a matter of opinion. everyone ended with the same score on that game. so to me, that's a tie.

  • i thought for sure the world would turn upside down and gravity would stop working.

  • i guess he wanted to make a historic moment on jeopardy

  • You know, it was awfully nice of him to do that!!

  • Ah-HA!

  • is that guy retarded? nice bet idiot

  • @ChEwYEnO it was intentional

  • wow , isnt that like illegal ?

  • Why the F did he not risk $2,601 ??!!!!!!

  • I have a feeling the rules may have been altered after this little ploy. :D :D But what a generous gesture!!

  • 0:42 AHA!

  • why does he say "we will see you all on Monday if they just tape one show after another months and months ahead of time. how the hell do they know when the show will air, maybe the syndicated networks will air something else instead how does he know.

  • @howardkevinm Um - because they know when the first episode they tape will air. And they can then add which taping t is to the number of shows they have taped. It isn;t really rocket science here. You're taping your 40th show - you premeier on Date X - you air 5 days a week - you can then know precisely when the show will air.

  • @howardkevinm Well, from the way I understand it, on the slate that the show tapes come with, along with the date it was recorded, it also includes the date the show is to be aired.

  • Yo I saw this....I thought he was gonna be a smart ass and bet $2,601 thinking that he would win barely

  • "HAHA!" 0:41

  • What a deal!

  • I don't think Mclovin needs ID anymore :D.

  • The guy in the middle is my teacher lol

  • 0:42

  • i think that guy on the left tried to make that happen

  • @mattxXx13 He definitely did that on purpose because he could of easily wagered more than 2600

  • @mattxXx13 defintely everyone wagers at least a dollar more then what their opponents would have if they double up, especially if its under 3g

  • @SanjayMaru1994 l2math, how could they have bid anymore when they bid their max and obviously the only man who could aided them to win.

  • that guy was very nice to do that. but the third guy on the right was total d!ck as if he done it instead. 0:46

  • Yeah he definitely did that on purpose. La wow!

  • what a great guy.

  • Yes! I watched this episode!!!!

  • @SanjayMaru1994 Only the scott guy coulve risked a dollar higher so he did the math and decided to equal the others highest.

  • i shit myself when i heard his laugh

  • What if the 3 players made a pact to always tie? They could quit their day jobs!

  • @ikilledsanta123 They actually changed the rule after this game concerning ties

  • @ikilledsanta123

Excellent plan, but I think the "prisoner's dilemma" comes into play here.

  • @ikilledsanta123 You're a genius sir. Im in.

  • @ikilledsanta123 If only. Unfortunately, that's collusion, which happens to be illegal.

  • AHA

  • this guy is great THEY ALL KNEW and he could have been a dick and took WAY more money but he let the other guys win too THATS a true friend (even though they may not know each other)

  • I thought Trebek was going to have an orgasm by how excited he was.

  • i am sure someone brought this up somewhere in the comments, but was it his strategy to tie...knowing that say..he was better than them and wanted more money on his next day? hmm

  • @geddoe316 Perhaps. Then again, he's probably just a huge nerd that enjoyed seeing a statistical rarity.

  • @geddoe316 I've always wondered why the players on Jeopardy don't go for the tie. If you're in the position where you can beat him if you want you've proven you can beat him. You can't say anything about a new competitor. In fact, in the rematch, the guy on the left (the one who could have beat these other 2 if he wished) had a resounding lead going into Final Jeopardy but got the question wrong. The guy in the center won.

  • @ikilledsanta123 ah thanks for that. i had no idea what even happened the next time these guys met. perhaps it was his strategy in the end, but it backfired hmmm

  • Everyone won! What a sport... I mean nerd.

  • Um what if everyone tied at $0

  • @weedieseadragon It happened on the second episode of Trebek Jeopardy (so this is not actually the first time ever!) None of them won anything and the next show had three new contestants.

  • Fuck bi-winning

    THEY'RE TRI-WINNING!

  • Mr. Kirby, the guy in the middle is actually a high school english teacher in Live Oak Florida. He taught me the year he was on Jeopardy.

  • the people waiting to get on the show are mad

  • Lol the 1st two were so relieved.

  • Triple win.

  • lmfao his laugh at 0:43

  • the weird thing is that i know someone named Scott Weiss...spelled exactly the same as that guy..and is really smart..and looks almost identical

  • lol

  • Alex looks like my neighbor.

  • Its a conspiracy!!!

  • I love it when Trebek goes, "baha!"

  • trebek freaked out when he saw he wagered 2600

  • @jacknjellify yeah except 200's are NEVER daily doubles

  • disagree shadow scott was not spiteful winning by one dollar is spiteful scott had courtesy

  • so NONE of them win any money what an asshole

  • @TheHaloChief117 they all won 16000 each. It was very considerate of him to allow the other guys to win also.

  • @TheHaloChief117 umm, they all won 16k.

  • lol at 00:36 The guy couldn't wait to tell the other guys: "We all come back"

  • It's not gay, if it's in a 3-way.

  • @PurplePigeonz with 3 dudes, however, I think you may be mistaken.

  • @PurplePigeonz LOL i was singing that right as i saw the title! WHOA!

  • @PurplePigeonz it is if your in the middle.
