Odd choice to use footage from 9/11 which was hardly fighting over pieces of the ground. More a matter of religious, idealogical principles. Would have been better to have seen footage of wars that were clearly over territory. Never mind.

Competition has shaped us over the millenniums, made us strong, and allowed us to succeed over other forms of life. Think of all the wonderful innovations ( in every field ) that can be directly credited to research, for war. From a more practical sense, our world is vastly over populated. All most all modern conflicts, when stripped down to their most basic motivators, have been over limited resources. You are failing to grasp that economics has a MONUMENTAL impact on the motivations for war.
