  • Thank you. Cool User Name, sometimes I hear Jiu-Jitsu voices in my head. :-)

  • Sometimes it depends on where your opponent's hand is. If it's on your inside hip (closest to their body), an omoplata may be a better option. If their arm is bent the other way, the belly down armbar may be an easier transition.

  • Do you feel like the transition into the belly down armbar is a better option than locking up an omoplata after missing the initial armbar attempt?

  • I'm not a fan of this counter but your instruction was well detailed non the less.
