Being brazilian and therefore a Carnaval specialist, and having been to Aalborg Karneval last year, I can assure you all: it has nothing to do with what Carnaval is about.
All the time I was under the impression that alcohol and drugs was all there was to it, and the cultural side was completely left aside. Getting drunk and stoned is normal during Carnaval, but it isn't its sole objectif!
Wake up, kids from Denmark, go to Brazil and try to understand what Carnaval is about.

I know most ppl in denmark know what carnival is, we dont need a specialist for telling us that.
