I hate how they say they have trouble with the transitions because they are tiny. Take Shawn Johnson for example. In the 2008 olympics she was 4' 9" and she had no trouble with that transition.
it amazes me that a lot of the chinese athletes are able to do very difficult routines without grips and wrist supports...it must be a lot more difficult to do giants and releases without dowel grips
no matter if i dont like the gymnast or not i always feel really bad for them when they fall cus its like they have worked so hard and they just had a little mess up ya know.
@howiemo1 she couldnt have gotten that score because she fell which is a whole point off and if she hadnt gotten the point off she would have had to scored a 10.25 which is obviously impossibe
Poor thing :(. She just didn't have enough power to grab the bar after the kip. She really doesn't finish her handstands well; her dismout was pulled far too close to the bar aswell.

@peaceluvcheer97 No,in that time, the fall was ''only'' 0.5 tenths of a point, today in COP 2009-2012 the fall is full point!

yah probly.
eMthegymnast 3 years ago
she doesn hit her handstands very well...this routine even without the fall would not score anything about about a 15.6 in todays scoring?
gymnasticsforever95 3 years ago
regardless the fall, this routine was spectacular. the fall was just a fluke anyways.
