  • just going to leave it there, what was the point of killing it lol

  • that is the most stupid way u could ever clean a rabbit

  • @TheHarehunter ..........as i said in one of the other comment ( one that you obviously didnt read) this was done as a test and i never use this method in the field myself. I had seen it on another youtube channel and thought i would give it a go. Thanks for your comment anyway, all-be-it one of the only negative ones i have had.

  • slow way of gutting a rabbit. tenderize the meat at the same time!

  • An interesting way to paunch a rabbit.

There may be a quicker way!

See my "Rimfire rabbits" video on youtube!

    All the best

    SHCM

  • Wow that was fast O_o.

  • now its already for you to fuck it with out getting shit and kidneys on ur cock

    no but seriously nicely done

  • this is wat happena after you eat to much mexican food, you shit out your insides

  • @1Brandonking .....LOL very true mate, thanks for the post.

  • does that not pop the bladder or stomach or anything? I havent really tested the resiliancy of these parts but a full grown man pushing down on them is alot of pressure...

  • that won't ruin meat if bad things touch the meat? i read if galbladder bile hits meat you can't eat it

  • @kuwaizair ....This was only done as a test mate. I normally paunch rabbits properly but, if you dont press down too hard everything comes out in one piece and nothing is ruptured. Also it leaves the heat and lungs in place above the diafram. Thanks for the comment.

  • Thats a great way of paunching man, seen another vid of this but I guess the chap who did it made a small nick at the vent prior to squeezing as it all come straight out.

So by this method when you get home just skin as normal, behead and away you go?

  • @CHOPERUS23 .......makes life in the field a little less invacive...ie the meat isnt exposed and flys cant get to it. As i have said before this was only a test to see if it would make a differance to preserve the rabbit and as you can see with the video its certainly quick...lol

    Thanks for the comment.

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • is this knowing as poping the gut of a rabbit? It looks a sick way of doing it, i always just skin and then paunch the normal way. Also it seem much quicker.

  • did you just leave it there?

  • I took the meat home and left the fur and inerds for the buzzards. I ALWAYS eat the rabbits and pigeon that i shoot. I like BBQ rabbit and pigeon but i also do a meen pie.

I hope this answers your question.

  • does it get the lungs and hart out because thers a bit of skin deviding the stomach and the hart

  • no because the diafram holds em in. I just used this method to show that it CAN be done and this was more a experiment to be honest. I leave the heart and lungs in coz my cats love em lol...the kidneys also stay put.

I always gut my rabbits using the full open method...i was asked if this way could help in the summer months to stop flies getting in to the meat. On the one i used for this experiment...the stomach didnt burst, it all came out in one piece.

    thanks for all your comments.

  • sound but iv got to say i aint a summer hunter things are breadin even if they are vermin your fuckin the game up givin huntin a bad name its respect for the countryside pal !! i can understand if the rabitts s have micksy or the farms havin trouble!!

  • This shoot has a real rabbit population problem and we shoot it year round, bringing down the numbers. If we shot 20 a day there would still be enough to shoot for years to come.

  • The farm has just over 2600 acres of crop fields and between the rabbits and pigeons they are making a mess of things...so we go in and reduce numbers. I dont think that i am in any way "fucking the game up" at all and as for giving hunting a "bad name" i cant say that i can possibly accused of that as i shoot to the word of the law,

  • It is the people who flount the laws and who shoot everything that moves that give hunting a bad name. I am a insured pest controler and i take my job seriously...after all thats what i am paid to do...control pest species as defined by the wildlife and countryside act, section 2 1987. and by the land owner, without prejudice. It doesnt matter when you shoot rabbits if you are reducing the numbers for the benafit of all wildlife and the farmer.

  • wel ye i can understand that i have respect for hunting i love it mate pigions do alot of damage the the land u are right id love to do it for a job in stead of me spare time

  • @richdvs Don't you get myxomatosis rabbits? How would you deal with that...?

  • @MrZinty Yes we get myxi here and i think it is better to shoot these infected rabbits that leaving them to starve to death. Once shot i leave the meat for the foxes and buzzards as i wouldnt want to eat infected meat. Some say you can eat rabbit that is infected with myxi as it only affects the head.....i dont want to risk it.

  • @richdvs Ye I wouldn't wanna risk it either but it seems all we have over on this island where I live is myx rabbits. Sad really.

  • do it properly u gtta skin it anyway

  • never seen that done before pal..top marks.

  • I just think its a better way to paunch so that you dont have to do a full open up in the field. I think this would be better used in the summer months as the flies wont be able to get in to the rabbit quite so easy. Thans for the comment.

  • Nice vid mate, 5/5 sub. hope too see some more good video's soon.

  • Thanks for the comment mate. More videos are coming soon.

  • guess it's good so as not to have to cut it fully open in the field
