  • oh keith youre so lovely lovely lovely and as a singer a hell of a drummer i love yoooouuu

  • Keith had a love of surf music and the Beach Boys.

  • Keeeeith <3

And Pete never could remember the text, NEVER :D

He writes things like Quadrophenia and Tommy but can't remember a thing like "ba-ba-ba-barbara ann" :D

but Keith's just..to say it with his words "yeeeeaaaaaaahhhr" :D

  • I didn't realize Moon wasn't playing with a hi hat that early on! great footage!

  • @jeffkahl Keith replies: Hi-hat???!! WTF is a Hi-hat. What's the point of something that chokes the sound? I spent money on a giant gong instead...and they threw in an extra bass drum.

  • if you mean the who of that time 1966 you're right but compare with the animals the who totally rocks think in all the great albums quadrophenia, tommy, who's next...they made history and not only for "hits songs" like my generation, they also created the opera rock style (they and the pretty things)

  • Dig The Who!!!

  • The live experience probably had a little more impact. This is film from 1966; the sound and cinematic quality would not be up to today's standards.

  • respect our host and all the stuff that is being posted. it ya'll SPELL OUT the names of the bands this will be deleted.

  • talk about missing the point ... the who is all about wild, loud playing, the beatles and animals utterly fail on those terms vs the who.

  • and the Ki nks and the rolli ng st ones.

the who put on a great live show. so did the Yar dbir ds.

  • What! No smash up at the end of 'My Generation'.

Awesome footage of live early Who. Still great even though they were right about to break-up after this. Thanks for the video Beyondthebeat!

  • available on dvd anybody?

  • who needs dvd?

  • i would prefer it. my computer set up is no match for my home theater system. besides youtube quality is pisspoor to begin with. but this'll do quite nicely for now! thanx to beyond the beat!!!

  • Thanks for these. The Who sure kicked ass in this era. The best years for Rock n' Roll IMHO (Even though I wasn't around to witness them 1st hand). Keith Moon is just amazing to watch. He just loves every minute of it!

  • wow this IS rare cos the only other instance I've seen Moonie singing is in The Kids Are Alright! far out!

  • Where do you find this stuff?? Thank you so much!

  • In his collection drawer, silly.
