i teach skiing/snowboarding, the biggest problem people have is they think things are harder than they are. people also seem to get scared very easily. honestly if you have ANY physical aptitude either sport is easy to start and super fun to learn. And I've never heard anyone call it "snow skiing"- kinda kooky lol

ok, so i sound a bit harsh, but the point i'm trying to make is that well meaning people can ultimately make your ski experience harder, or create a longer learning curve in the long term. I have recieved a post from Dave and I actually admitted I was a bit too critical.

In fact with a little professional help, his videos could much more helpful.

please don't listen to this guy for ski advice. He misses out so much important info. His demos are terrible. He's probably not highly qualified. He makes things sound complicated. He's probably only an American level 1 instructor at best. Just because someone can ski well, doesn't make them a good instructor.

I am a qualified instructor, so know what I'm talking about.

OMG, the first thing he said was the best "in this clip were going to talk about how to recover from a fall". Uh usually when I'm recovering from a fall it's because I was boogyin' at about 65+ MPH. At the time of recovery, I am not really thinking about if my skis are crossed. Even if I'm going slow through the bumps and munch it good. I ain't thinkin' bout my skis and which orifice one may be protruding from. It isn't easy to get up when your in some of these positions. Good Info!
