  • i got a 95 taxi package caprice but it painted over white now gor all i know the 1 in this videos might be the same one in my driveway lol

  • @MrDatkidceddy for*

  • Absolutely beautiful

  • I like how this guy puts the car in park when it's still moving. All I own are Roadmasters and Cads (B and D bodies). I will NEVER drive any other car or wagon. My father in law worked for Ford and he says that no-one is allowed to wear shorts at work. This video is just for show...and you can tell by what the plant manager says " if there is any problem, we'll spot it here" well 95-96 RMs and Cads have many fender-door alignment issues, I wonder what they were smoking at the QC section?

  • I want one of those Impalas or Fleetwoods.

  • i think he had trouble getting out.

  • i love the roadmaster, but i think the headlights was a TERRIBLE DESIGN.

  • @batmanlooksgood I like the look of the lights, but they perform terribly due to how GM designed the electrical system. The ones on my Caprice look like candles at this point. HID's fix that.

  • @moldymac Did you swap the bulb, or the whole housing? My 99 park ave's lights are yellowed and that light restoration stuff didnt reallly help. I saw a guy with 6000HID (?!) im considering.

  • My ex's grandpa's looked JUST like the one at 2:31

  • We are selling a '95 that has only 80k miles on it. It was my wifes' grandfathers car. Light blue, beautiful, and loaded. LT1 350 runs like a dream. They were meticulous with maintenance. All updates by the dealer and they just had a new rear seal put in (leaked because it just sat for a time in the garage), leather heated seats, heated mirrors, cd, etc. We have the original window sticker (he paid $30k for it) and the original Buick dealer brochure. $3500 in Indiana. Wish we could keep it.

  • own a 93 roadmaster estate with over 270,000 on it and still going strong

  • As the owner of a '95 Roadmaster, I'm glad I found your channel! I had forgotten how beautiful these cars looked when they were new. 16 years of Texas sun and 207,000 miles have taken their toll on my car's paint, trim and chrome.

    Thanks for uploading this!

  • @F41Driver My wood trim has seen better days as well. This summer I plan to remove it and polish it. Under the paint they are stainless steel.

  • I see some Caprice's going down the line too! :)

  • wow, the cars in the background are awesome too, i saw a green Impala SS (the better color in my opinion), a white 9C1 caprice, and even a 9C6 taxi caprice was nice to see all shiny and with less than a mile on them!

  • beautiful cars, what happened to america?????

  • @MrMattys10 Most of it is satisfied with powerless tin cans, only a select few want to drive real cars anymore.

  • @moldymac i glad someone see's it too. i have a roadmaster and a sonoma . iv had 30 cars and not one of them was a foreign . my father wants it on his gravestone. here lyes j. parker never owned a jap car lol

  • @MrMattys10 Everything I have owned has been American except for that 87 toyota pickup I have. I only paid $100 for it otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. My father has always owned American cars, mostly GM. When he passed a few years ago we had a chevy emblem put on his grave stone, he loved his Chevys.

  • @moldymac

I've only owned American cars as well. I have driven a lot of imports though.

I've always had Chryslers. Only just recently I bought a Grand Marquis, last year was its last production year too =( And it's the best car I've ever owned. Solid engineering, marvelous ride, loads of power. I wanted a Buick Roadmaster but couldn't find one in a good condition. The Buick's seats are even softer than those of the Grand Marquis. The Grand Marquis was originally in the "near luxury" class.

  • These were the last real cars made along with Fords Panther platform. It is sad how political propaganda bit by bit made these cars in lesser demand and harder to produce. My hat is off to the great talent at American auto companies who once were able to build the nicest cars ever made at prices the consumers could afford. Thank you for sharing this great piece of history!

  • @ImForwardlook Popularity of minivans and SUVs killed off these beastly cars. Not political propaganda. :-P

  • @palebeachbum GM killed off these cars mainly because of the SUV craze. They converted the Arlington TX plant over to an SUV plant. If it werent for those damn things they probably would have made these cars a lot longer.

  • @palebeachbum

The SUV craze was there because the government put high taxes on large sedans, but not on SUV's.

  • I see a few Impala SS's in the back!! NICE!

  • If only they had made an Oldsmobile and Pontiac equivalent to cover all bases. Why only the Caprice, Roadmaster and Fleetwood. Doesn't make sense to me.

  • @Sonnenradikal For 1991-92 there was an Oldsmobile wagon, the Custom Cruiser. For whatever reason there was never a pontiac wagon or sedan on this platform

  • Very cool video. I love these cars; they did a great job putting the two Caprices I've owned together at that plant. They did an equally good job putting together my '98 Tahoe!

  • I've got a 1993 Limited Sedan with 173000 miles and no problems yet. It's the best car I've ever owned and I'm never selling it!

  • @bilbob89 some love caddilac brougham said they don t make this Quality

cars annymore.if you have a pictuer of youe raodmaster please send it to gorin002

gmail.com love to see it for me its ceo manager car car you never get tired in it in long distance

  • Did yall see that clean ass white bubble caprice at 2:35 ?

  • awesome dude. im starting to like b-bodies more and more, cant kill them, theyre built like tanks. the best ones were the '80s boxes.

  • @gmdude91 I like the 94-96 B-bodies the best, gotta love that LT1 engine!

  • @moldymac yes, theyre the best as far as engines are concerned, but the boxes are just indestructible. cars just arent as durable as they used to be, as are many things in todays eco-concerned world.

  • I will never sell my 1995 Roadmaster. The best car I ever owned.

  • @TheJudge1850 Same here!

  • why disconecting cars that had a such big buyers ?? and plus they are not any cars but they real strong cars ? is it imposible to bring back these cars to the market ?

  • @BGKO1992 No one wants a big powerful car anymore, they have been brain washed into wanting crappy econo-boxes.

  • @moldymac than asner me lincoln ford unplug lincon

made the millan.oldmobile intrqeu is gone in 2001 wy

    was compact handle good.

  • @BGKO1992 you ask a qwestion i ask mi self 1000000 times

i know american cars need be bit smaller better to anser japanse and eurpeans

if a car sel wy stop the ,take pontiac last ceo manager i think it is.killed trans am

bonneville some other replaced by holden.no one nought it.

lincoln made millan anser to eh honda.it seemd allmost none want to buy it

ford unplug lincoln.you ask if car doing good wy stop production.maby obama ?

  • @BGKO1992 At the time SUVs were the hot sellers and they rededicated the plant to building Chevy Tahoes.

While Tahoes are great, you can't beat a standard (full) size body on frame sedan.

  • I mizz my ROADMAZTER!!!!!

  • now that's how an american car should look like! huge exterior, lot of space in the interior, beautiful and uncomplicated shape. GM really did a great job at that car...they still build the most "american" cars in my eyes. hopefully they will find a good way out of the crisis with new technologies to keep up at the market...

  • @NintendoFanatic123 These were the last of the true american cars, big rear wheel drive V8s. I have a 95 roadmaster wagon and a 95 caprice wagon and will never sell them, nothing beats these cars.

  • @NintendoFanatic123

I think Chrysler does. The current 300 is the only real modern American full size sedan (allthough still not as large as the Roadmaster). Unfortunately Ford stops making the panthers.

  • Awesome cars! I love the body on frame rwd cars. I'll never buy a front drive car ever! These were REAL cars.

  • you said it!

  • what do you think of the crown victoria?

  • @weaponexpert1 Never got a chance to drive one, but they have some decent space inside. I am more of a GM guy so never had any interest in one.

  • @jigsaw1984 76 Eldorado. Front Wheel Drive. That's a real car. These Roadmasters are too, and so are the DeVilles, Sevilles, and other good GM cars.

  • I worked at this plant from 1973 till 1990, a great group of people trying to build cars that were nothing more than junk! Our tooling and styling was always out of date!

  • yes, our roadmaster was a piece of shit, but black paint on wood exterior doors, plus a moonroof and dark red interior, and a horn that sounded like it was pulled off a 1950s car was the hotness... it just looked cool, was cool, drove really well, but broke down every 2 months

  • i smack you, sir

  • @SWARLCPL yall must have done something right, because im always hearing stories about caprices, bonnevilles, lesabres, and 88s that have 300k+ miles. they may not have been fancy, but they were ALWAYS dependable.

  • There are Buick Know-How tapes? :O

  • max williams Welcome to TEXAS' was awesome.

  • Sad to see many of these cars were traded in as clunkers..

  • Roadmaster and Caprice - fine cars!

  • dude, hondas are made in ohio and canada by white people

  • Yes, but if you have any knowledge when buying a jap car make sure to buy one that was built in Japan. I bought a 90 Accord new and made sure it was built in a Japanese facility. 300,000 miles and only thing it has ever needed is a radiator. Still runs like new.

  • LMAO My uncle is one of them!

  • When Buicks still looked like Buicks...

  • @McVaio thats it.love the la cross this was real buick

    2010 regal is opel insgnia

  • @koioo2

Yep, it sucks. I don't give a shit about GM's Euro models. Keep them in Europe.

  • @McVaio its great when european cars are in the U.S as v olkswagen is or toyota

not under a american car.or pretend its american.as ever olsmobile and it was a opel omega.or pontiac wich was holden.european chevy its dawoo.that sucks

volkswagen is great they are in the u.s

  • @McVaio Yeah, and also when American cars looked like American cars. Today, besides Large Truck based Vans, SUV's and Pickups, I can't tell what kind of car it is. Today's jellybean looking cars look nothing more like hideous re-badged jap or euro cars. Ford calls themselves an "American" car company, but lately all I've been seeing is them killing off our American vehicles (such as Crown Vic and soon to be Econoline Van) and replacing them with hideous little plasitc euro fwd crap. WTF?

  • @jigsaw1984

Yes, it's a shame. I like their trucks and SUV's (Ram 1500 is awesome, GMC Yukon too) but it is crazy that not a single American car manufacturer makes full size sedans anymore! European manufacturers now make larger cars than Americans. Wtf? I really don't understand how this could happen. Although smaller, sure there is still a market for large comfy sedans (GM, Crown Vic & TownCar). And Americans were king in making them!

I didn't know the Econoline was disappearing as well?? Why?

  • POLICE CAPRICE!!!!!!!!

  • This wasnt scripted was it?

  • They shoulda left old Chuck out of it!

  • Best cars ever ... especially the Caprice, the most beautiful.

  • So was your face, but you don't hear us complaining about it!

  • good manufacturing but crappy design specs. Too bad GM got the memo too late.

  • wow,that are beautiful cars

  • At 2:02 there appears to be an SS Impala in the background, and at 2:11 you can see one that is going to be a taxi. (By the way, I'll take the red one shown at the beginning!)

  • the one at 2:39 looks to be a cop car

  • the golden age of buick, best buick ever made.

  • the best buick was the grand national. imo

  • Agreed...speaking from a performance standpoint. The best looking Buick IMO... a 68 Duece and quarter. I like all the GM B bodies though.

  • thank god we have hoist now, them poor guys were killin themselfs

  • You only need to look in the mirror whenever you wonder how long it takes to extrude a turd.

  • BeautifulJF: Didn't your daddy tape you being born and then your momma flusing the best part of you? That will satisfy your curiosity.

  • Amen to that.

  • the best ! cars have no style now

  • any chance that they kept a few of those estate wagon's locked away??? ;-)

  • I have one, wood panel, for sale!!! shoot me a message

  • where is the other part of the video ?

  • PLEASE BRING THEM BACK !!

  • Dig the '95-'96 9c1 caprice in the background at 2:34! Looks almost like my '94, just less 160,000 miles.

  • yea that caprice was sexy

  • I'm reading this speech off of a card.

  • Lol. You should see the rest of the tape; you can actually see some peoples eyes moving from side to side as they struggle to read the prompter!

  • cool video, thanks for posting
