I saved up and bought a WASR 10/63 UnderFolder NEW IN THE BOX with everything you hsvr and it is in the mail right now. It should be here this week some time. The prices of WASR has gone up quite a bit. After everything is said and done and you buy a crate of ammo and other gear you're looking at spending quite a bit of cash. Not nearly as much as an AR-15 but still, the best rifle for the cash is the AK. After FFL Fee, extra Mags, etc,. it is worth it to have a bad ass AK-47 in your arsenal

@sabbathmusic the issue is alot of wasrs are poorly put together in comparison to others like norinco, polish, maadi etc. such issues as, canted sights, gasblock, poorly riveted rear trunion to the receiver, sloopy magazine wells milled from lowcap versions, and various other qc issues that make the gun far less accurate and sometimes cause jamming issues as well. the best way to find a wasr that isnt a dog is to shoot and look through it before buying.
the thing i see a lot of, is people making vids of their guns and ammo supplies.once youve done that their is no secret or surprise.and its best to know everything about your weapon that your showing before making a vid about ak's and such.people who dont like guns see a man talking about a meat grinder he just bought and dont know about some of the componets or sound like he's in question make for a defense to you owning a simi.AND that makes for bad business.

I have a woodstock WASR-10 and even though its the post-ban for bayonets and flash suppressors mine did not include a bayonet and the bayonet lug notches were milled off along with no suppressor. So that was lame. I like it though I am itching to shoot it.

@mxmike458 I'm completely with you; I've had the very same kind of AK for about a year now and it's never jammed and I can hit a water bottle at 125 yards with iron sights with every shot (that's the longest gun range I can find). It's still all wood and steel with no scopes, rails, or muzzle break. I also only use Russian Brown Bear ammo. I bought it for $450 and I would never sell it; not even for $3000!
that logic dont make sense, if you could sale it for that much....cause you could buy another one and have enough money leftover to buy more ammo than you could ever be able to shoot.
@cuzimaluzer77 It makes sense- I love this AK too much to let it go. It's surprisingly accurate and it's my first. If I sold it to buy another one, who knows if the new one would be as accurate and reliable. My AK has mad sentimental value to me.

Not sure if anyone else has told you this, but that metal piece you are talking about is the blank adaptor. You thread it onto where the muzzle break goes and it enables you to shoot blank 7.62x39 ammunition
Get some nice laminated wooden furniture on that and a "Romy" bakelite pistol grip...and they are nice rifles. As far as low end underfolders go that is. I recently picked up an SAR1 underfolder for 450 bucks with all the goodies....so luckily they are coming back down to a reasonable price. Cool vid thanks for sharing...Cheers!

if you buy a new one, you can return it if it is canted or if it has mag wobble. or you can try AM magazines, which usually fit better on the WASR.
it is cheap. it goes bang every time. when the shit hits the fan i'd almost rather have a 400 dollar AK that wont jam or misfire than a 1200 AR that (probably) will. although, you can build an AR for about 600 bucks. tough call.
I bought my AK-47 WASR-10 For $299, but that was 10years ago. I NEVER had any miss feed's, or miss fire's, No Mag woble, or trigger slap, no canted gass tube, front sight post is not canted at all. I think I got a Great Wasr-10. & I'm going to hold on to it for year's to come....& if need be I'll Beary it. Do it now while you still can. If all you can afford is a WASR 10 Romanian, buy it anyway. I have one and have put 1,000 rounds through it without a single hiccup. Just make sure that the front sight post is not too canted and that the gass tube is not canted. A little bit of canting on the front sight block is ok, you can usually make up for it by adjusting the sight for windage. Buy now before prices go up or dick face politicos ban them.
....the only problem is that chickens and oranges haven't been accepted as currency in this country for...a really long time. I WISH I could get an AK here for that price.

Yea regarding that last part...man I just got back from Dunhams and they're charging $599 (SALE PRICE) for WASR's...just plain old ones with wood furniture. And $450 for a single stack WASR

Cool video. I just got a Romanian underfolder with wood furniture a few days ago.
The under folder seems to have a little better overall finish than a regular Wasr-10. Then again, I may have just gotten lucky.
