Sura 9:29: "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." @MrShameerayub If you read 1 Samuel 15:2 you'll understand why in the next verse God decided to get read of Amalek and his people in 1 Samuel 15:3. Let me explain you the whole story - God wanted the people of Israel to go back to the country Abraham acquired for them but the Amalekites were the people who wanted to prevent that from happening. Even after king Saul made a treaty with them they still had their plan in mind that why God ordered the annihilation of the amalekites.

There is no doubt about that. Every friday you have Imam preaching that on satelite TV, so don't try to full people with a doctrine of peace that does not exist in the Qur'an. Look at any map of the levant from the Roman, Ottoman, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Macedonian or any other empire that conquered that area. None of those maps ever refer to a nation of Palestine. The first use of that word comes from the Roman after they renamed the area. It's a LATIN word used by Rome...it's not even an arab word.

@TrevorHakami You are probably correct to say I hate islam. That is very different from hating muslims. I don't respect a religion that preaches hate and violence. I don't respect a religion that distorts history. For example, islam attempts to teach that mohammad went to Jerusalem and that islam existed before mohammad.
And if you live in the Middle East, then we do you seem to not understand about the *WAR* between Israel and the arab nations?

@TrevorHakami I challenge you to find me *ONE* document that pre-dates mohammd that uses the words "islam" or "muslim". It's a 100% fact that islam didn't exist untill mohammad. This is exactly what I was talking about. Islam distorted history...and you believe it.
Also, it's historically proven that mohammad was *never* in Jerusalem. The dome of the rock, which is used to celebrate the event, doesn't have a single reference to his night journey.

@TrevorHakami A "Christian" is someone who believes in the same God as the Israelites, but follows the teachings of Jesus. A "muslim" is someone who follows the teachings of mohammad and accepts the quran. The 2 religions are so vastly different.
However, you are probably correct. Neither one of us are going to convert. With that said, I hope I didn't offend you, as that was not my intent. I think it's best we end our discussion before it spirals out of control.

@TrevorHakami Christians don't believe in a 3 in 1 God. Muslims think Christians believe that, but it's not true. And there is no difference between the theology of the Israelites and Christians. I'm *not* talking about modern day Jews. Jews today are politically, theologically and culturaly disconnected from the Israelites. There is almost nothing similar between Judism today and what the Israelites believed. Christians and the Israelites believed almost the exact same thing.

1) accepts the quran
2) accepts mohammad is the last and final prophet
3) accepts the theology of islam (a religion started in the 7th century)
However, back to your comment about the Israelites, I challenge you to find me something in the New Testament that is not found in the Old Testament. Please keep in mind this is a friendly challenge :)

There is not a single record of anyone useing the word "islam" or "muslim" before mohammad. Not only that, but Adam and Eve were not real people (not according to the Bible at least). Humans did't get "created" magically. You are welcome to disagree, but this is what science says

However, the further my point, there is not a single record in all of history from before mohammad that ever says "muslim" or "islam". Those 2 terms did *not* exist untill mohamad. If they did exist before him, we have at least 1 record...be we dont.

There was never indeed a country called Palestine, its just a term for a region ( originated from "Philistines", wiki it ), just like "Sham" refers to the region currently held in Syria & Jordan. Palestine, as a country ( rather than groups of resistances & local authorities ), was suggested by King Fahad of Saudi Arabia. The borders originated from the British colonization, and later isreal's invasion.

@zorin85 I can't accept that Sky and Earth has a will and that Sky and Earth can talk. To me Sky and Earth is space, matter and can't respond like humans. I can accept that Animals can talk but I can't accept that Matter can talk.
To me it is really primitive.

At least be consistent in ur position. Do u lack faith in the creative forces of God to grant the power of speech to His creation? What did Jesus say? Look up Mark 10:27

23:14 extols the absolute supremacy of Allah as the Best of Creators since He is inimitable & incomparable in His creative powers. Can u compete with God in any act of creation?
40:62 states the self-evident truth that ultimately God is indeed the author of all & to Him we return. What is the contradiction here?

'god of mercy'.... so mercyful that the most basic of 'sins' are considered punishable only by death - such as daring to question why the quran states the world is flat.
Just look at Taseer today, murdered for daring to stand up for the rights of a Christian woman sentenced to death by stoning for apparently insulting that child molesting prophet.
Islam - the 'religion of peace'. If muslim's aren't killing each other they're wanting to kill everyone else....

Conclusion:
You have to two choices.
First Choice: God of bible that limits his All Knowing, Gives free will to Man and is 100% Good God
Second Choice: God Of Quran that is 100% All Knowing, Gives no free will to man, forces man to be sinner and that type of God is Evil because he creates sin.
Choice is your. I go with First.
