a bandog in the US is primarily a male pit bred to a female Neapolitan mastiff . there some that breed pit to american bulldog or olde english bulldog but the pit neo mix is best for working

@retardatooo this is actually a breed for the chain :] .. hence the name lol . sometimes, they are released off the chains at night to patrol the property until morning.. many times, when containing a breed with strength such as this, the chain is quite necessary do to their awful amounts of will to move forward. Highly respectable property protection dogs is what they are. Also, there are a few websites that provide more information on the hybrid which might be interesting to read on too.
