1468 had a V8 in it and twin stacks the 1466 was more regular and had a inline 6 and 1 stack the 1468 was more of ih's show tractor than their biggest baddeest one
Actually that is a stock 1468 with an International DV550 V8 diesel power plant. They were naturally asperated. They produced about 130hp @ 2600 RPMs. They had a short run being made from 71 to 74, but they were one of the coolest farm tractors IH ever made. I'd say they were a close second to 2+2 models that were produced from 1979 thru 1989.
Actually...the 1468 was rated at about 145 hp. The DV 550 didn't hold up well to turbocharging so it's best just to leave it alone. As far as I'm concerned it's one awesome tractor and would love to add one to my line someday.
My uncle has twin turbos on his 1568. It is pretty badass.

I don't think it is turboed as there is not enough smoke at the start and too much when its pulling hard. He maybe wants to keep it in one piece!
