the movie is really inaccurate. In the book, Holly experments with her sexuality and is inevitably lesbian. And "George" (he doesn't have a name, other than Holly's Fred) is gay. *spoilers* The Sally Tomato thing ends up actually panning out into something and Holly gets into serious trouble and runs away from New York. It's a Capote novella, so what do you expect?

First of all if you HAVEN'T seen Breakfast at Tiffany's, then shame on you =P! Audrey Hepburn is Blair's role model and likes to redo a lot of her movie moments whether it was in a dream or reciting her lines with Nate as the leading man (exactly like the books). I kinda wish the scene was almost exactly like the movie. BTW in season 2, Blair and "Lord Marcus" were doing a bike riding scene that was an homage to Roman Holiday, another famous Hepburn film.
