@a0p0a070 I am now retired from NATS so can't really help you. All I know is that they are called Cobham Flight Inspection based at Teeside Airport. Should be on Google so you could try contacting them. Good Luck!!
Many people want to be a pilot because flying is probably the best feeling you can get, and jobs related to aviation have to be professional because planes are complex and any mystake can cause hundreds of deaths so everybody has to know his job perfectly ;)
Not really scary because Heathrow flights normally finish at around 11.30pm so there were no other aircraft flying in the area at that time. We did a number of runs and then landed at the normal speed for the Beech 200.
I see you guys on the movement pages! I recognize that king air anywhere!

It is a beautiful feeling which is difficult to describe. It is in my eyes the best job.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
*Why do we want to be a pilot?
*Why do jobs related to aviation considered to be more professional?
Besides, what is the leisure to pilot an aeroplane?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm.

Wasn't that scary, i mean heathrow is a busy airport, how fast did you have to land!

What is the normal V-Ref for a beech? How long have you been flying?

I've no idea, I don't fly the things I'm just one of the ground techs that hitched a ride that night!

Normally across the threshold when landing at 100kt. However on calibration approaches (like this one) you'd be at 160kt (ish), gear up.
