  • what about the beam, how can i get a laser that has a bright beam even in daytime, my green laser has a fixed point in day and a somewhat thin light beam at night but i want one that is obv

  • @danmcdonalds If we were to refer to all light intensity in mW, the sun would be in the thousands and thousands of mW. The sun is very bright and our lasers cannot compare to the HUGE amount of "power" the sun has. This is why you won't be able to see the beam of a pen-style handheld laser during a clear sunny sky. If what you want is burning power and the ability to see a nice beam at night, then purchase a green laser that is 50mW or higher. Red is almost out of visible color range.

  • what helps burn, nm or mw because i have a 532nm 5mw green laser, and i want to buy a 600nm 50mw red laser

  • @danmcdonalds The "nm" is the wavelength of the laser measured in nanometers (nm), and it's the color of the laser itself. The "mW" is the power rating of the laser measured in milliwatts (mW). The higher the power, the more burning power the laser will have.

  • where do i get a green laser?

  • nice lens

  • laser pointa :O :3

  • nice, but then which is the worse pointers manufacturers?, to know that. thanks

  • WL is terrible, their products are overpriced and they overprice everything. Buy from LaserGlow, NOVAlasers, and Optotronics, They are constantly overspec, and are reasonably priced. Plus you can get a 5% discount at NOVA, and a 7.5% discount at optotronics. Add 2.5% to the 7.5% if you're BANNED from LC. LC is a communist forum and if you say ANYTHING to even remotely make WL or TL (owned by the same CO.) look bad, they ban you. Even if you just ask why it's underpowered. /rant

  • wow lol that took forever and you had a lens

  • Yeah I know. I couldn't find the sweet spot but when I did, I moved and had to find it again :P

  • 55 MW is not enough to blind is it? or is it?

  • any laser pointer can blind you

  • Any laser will blind, even the cheapest <1mW

    and it's 55mW, not 55MW.

with 55MW you could probably melt a russian tank :)

  • lol, the irony made me laugh

  • mine is cool too!

  • I made the lens assembly myself. I had an old 35mm Nikon camera lying around, so I took it apart and extracted the lens from it. The I got a piece of thin PVC tubing and cut it to size. I placed the lens in the PVC and put some tape on the inside of the PVC in order to hold the laser.

  • where did u get the lens ?

  • nice.

  • how did you make the lens
