Humans have descended to the lowest possible level,while still remaining sentient. The question is whether or not we can ascend again,all the way back up. Apparently,we will be the first to do this and it will happen and is happening. Yes,you chose to be here for this event. Humans only have 3% of their DNA connected to their life experience. There is no such thing as "junk DNA";it is just not connected. Of course we will grow,slowly and there are many more things to learn, than we already know.

I hate to say this but George seems like he doesn't jive with the optimistic approach to 2012 as much as the doom and gloom one... I mean every time he talks with an spiritualist, an after lifer, a psychic whatever it is he always asks about hell, demons and apocalypse which seem to be his favorite subjects.

@domepiece01 I think he's a realist. He KNOWS we are all screwed. I agree. That is why I live in the woods, and am prepped!

@romnsch13 Nothing wrong with being prepared but there is a fine line between being a realist and being fearful. In fact I would say that one informs the other.
