It was a tech demo shown during the unveiling of the Gamecube to show what sort of graphics the Gamecube could produce. People thought it was going to be the next Zelda game - it wasn't, it was just a tech demo - so it was part of why so many brains exploded when Wind Waker was unveiled.

Anyhow, the video would've been better if it was just the song, without the background noises from the demo and the cartoon. ^^'
