i was in band the year we did this show and we sound like fucking shit. dont even try to pretend we dont. and whoever said in the video that "our band gives the best performances" is full of shit and quite obviously deaf. if you wanna see a good show have your director show you our 2005 state competition video. that is something to be proud of. no one should ever have to listen to this horrendous show ever again.

I can understand how you may feel about your school's particular cheerleaders but to down cheerleaders as a whole is bs. I'm not a cheerleader but I definitely respect them as a sport. If you never have, just watch a cheer competition on ESPN. Can you do half the stuff they do from the dancing to the tumbling to the stunts?!? It's not easy at all.

Compared to a real sport that is seriously underestimated, such as water polo, those cheerleaders can't do shit. Our cheerleaders aren't professional, obviously; they have no talent compared to the band.

the band blows air through some tube-like thing to make sound. WOW. cheerleaders work out, get buff, do hard stunts, flip through air, get thrown in the air, memorize long dances &cheers, stack on top of each other, do the splits & flips in the air. i AM a cheerleader. AND i go to lhhs. for you to say that band has more talent than cheer is ridiculous. and then for you to say our cheerleaders suck, is even more ridiculous since you used to live here. have some respect.

True, cheerleaders work hard, but the band doesn't have it easy either. It's not just "blowing through a tube-like thing". The memorize complete songs with not combinations, keep the beat, stay in time with the music, march, and alot more too. Half of them have HUGE instruments that are quite heavy. Now, I dont hate cheerleaders so I wont say they suck, but band works as hard as any chearleader out there, if not harder at times.

I never was, and never will be, jealous of cheerleaders. A few of them are nice, but I have many enemies who have become cheerleaders. I just don't believe in that as a sport.
