howard jones is a genius.

Howard Jones' music is so much better than a lot of other pop from the 80's. It has substance that, oh Flock of Seagulls never had. He won loads of awards and has always been well respected by his peers. His music stands the test of time, which much from the 80's does not. But HJ music is still being recorded by new artists and it doesn't have that '80's sound" It's still just as good today as it ever was and that is what defines great music, I think.

I remember watching this show on VH1 and Howard Jones won this competition, hands down.

I don't remember who he lost too, but he should have won. He did an awesome job with Dido's "White Flag"

Nick is definitely not playing the main synth bassline on that track, in all likelihood, he was asked to mime it for the cameras. There's a slim chance he's playing one of the smaller synth parts via MIDI, but it's hard to see if that Stick has the MIDI stuff installed.

Still love the music, but doesn't Showbiz suck balls. :)
