"Love me..or go to hell" ..is not the gospel. If one were to remove the threat of hell from the Christian construct..99% of congregation would vacate the church.

We are not "saved" from hell, but saved from ourselves & the hopelessness of our fallen state. This guy is right-on.

I dont know what hell looks like, if its burning, hopelessness or as you say, but the thing i know is that hell is the least place any person wants to come to.. thats what i say to people if they ask me too, its not important to dwell on how ''hell'' looks like, because its really bad, its eternal separation from God, eternal death! Which we ought to preach the Lord Jesus Christ so that they can be saved..

The eternal torment thing is hard to push out of your mind once it's been planted in your head, so unfortunately it still gets me all worried sometimes, but I keep praying to God asking him to show me the truth, that he IS love! And seeing videos like yours gives me hope. So thank you. I also am hoping to find a new church, because the one I'm at is obviously not right for me as it's taught those beliefs that torment me.

The church I've been going to didn't help either because they seem to support the eternal torment belief. But it's true, no loving God could really just let people suffer. Ok i usually dont do this but, i have to now...@ 1:00-1:06 HE BECAME CHRISTIAN through reading, im sorry but i thought God does the calling..as in the book 1st Corinthians chapter 1 : verse 1.. Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the WILL of GOD, no need to go on further there. Ok John 3:16, should be more like John 6:37 for God does the calling to his elect, choosen people..not everyone will be saved ..John 6:65 no more time needed here..No hell Matt5:22/5:29/5:30/9:43-44

one thing I would like to point out is that God doesn't punish you that don't worship him on a daily basis he punishes you because of your sin and if you sin uncontrollably your whole life then you would have no way of getting into heaven which is also why God got rid of the old covenant because it would be too hard for anyone to follow this every sunday tradition so he would make a new covenant that you could never break for the sacrifice would come from him

This is great!!! God is love. The doctrine of eternal, burning hell is so destructive to people's faith, and is such a lie. The bible teaches no such thing. I love this video.
