I think a lot of people should be informed that soy milk, soy burgers, and other soy products can really hurt your thyroid. So if you have a thyroid issue and you want to be a vegan you should try almond milk or coconut milk. Just trying to help since I know how miserable how some people can be with thyroid problems. :)
You have some interesting commentary on your videos always, lol. I love that Morning Star brand. It's really good! I bet it would taste good....with cinnamon. LMFAO!
I really wish I could go Vegan. I've told myself I'd do it for the past couple years, but I always say "tomorrow". Hopefully watching your videos will help motivate me. Not only for health reasons, but I'm also a HUGE animal lover/advocate. BTW - I just noticed you live in the Tampa area. That's awesome, I lived there (Palm Harbor) for 6 years and my father and other family still do.
@LarryTanoury I feel the same way. I'm not vegan either... just vegetarian. I do avoid a lot of dairy though these days. I watched a few videos on "grinding" of male chicks for egg production. Sickening stuff. I definitely feel like I'm heading that way too.
i dont feel sorry for animals or anything, but i like vegeterian food just cos i find it tasty, also soya milk products are awesome-the problem is- every special food like this here ios sooo sexpensive... like 5-6 times more expensive then normal one, and i barely even afford normal one, so ye.. even if i wanted to become vegeterian for healthy life style, i would have to eat boring cheap food XD
@anezis yes, I agree... many meat substitutes can get expensive. I tend to make my own veggie burgers and whatnot... black bean burgers are the BEST, and super cheap to make. They are also very easy to cook. Being vegetarian has actually saved me a lot of money, but it took me almost 6 months to figure out how to do it cheaply :)
Imitation they say is the most sincere form of flattery?
I just find it slightly amusing that so many vegetarian meals are substitutes , dare I say for the real thing ( & of course I understand why ) ... but you never see a piece of meat trying to disguise itself as ... say, asparagus now do you?
Jaclynglenn could I please do a collab with you about vegetarians ? I don't have many views jmor many subscribers so could you maybe think about it ? X
@Ducky888888 I don't feel superior... Watch my video on "vegs are better".
I'm actually going to be a doctor in a few short years so please don't try to tell me what is and what isn't healthy. If you eat the right foods, any vegetarian can be perfectly nourished.... with a much lower chance of several other diseases.
@Ducky888888 You don't necessarily drink milk if you're a vegetarian... and what I said goes for vegans too....
and please don't try to call anything about vegetarians hypocritical. Vegetarians are accomplishing a lot of good, and there are intermediate choices and moderate people in this world. It doesn't have to be one way or the other strictly. In the eyes of an animal, vegetarians look pretty good standing next to someone who won't even try.
@ashisfun21 I already read a lot on vegan stuff. You can be healthy for a few years tops then you have to take supplements. And for children its not recommended at all to follow a vegan diet.
have you ever looked up the American Dietetic Association? they say properly planned vegan or vegetarian diet is healthy and provide some benefits. sure B12 is the nutrient that really hard to get in a vegan diet but now a days, nutritional yeast provides good source of B12 on a vegan diet. and some other B12 sources available on a vegan diet. you should look up the information before saying stuff that you dont know.
ok, I can tell you my personal experience. Ive been vegan for about a 8 months now and I feel the HUGE difference! I really dont want to tell this to others because its soooo good lol, but for saving animals I have to share it with others. the benefits are so goood that I dont ever want to go to eating meat again! even if its not saving animals. the benefits are, more energy, losing unneccesary weight!
I never go under 60kg no matter how hard I exercize now that I became vegan I weigh now 56kg! and I look sooooo goood! I looked at the mirror I was going oh my god I look cuter lol what happened! lol I never wanna go back to eating any animal again! even if its not for saving animals!
Im not sure whats going to be like in the future but so far its going soooo damn gooood!
@nocomments38 Part 1 I appreciate you sharing me your personal experience with me but i know a guy who was on a vegan diet for 20 years and he says it destroyed his health and he is on a strict paleo diet now, he only eats meat and fat. He says that his years old headaches are over and he feels very good, also he is followed by a doctor and making all kind of blood tests to be sure.
Vegan diet is a high carb diet and now we now that it is not good for you.
was he getting a B12? what was he diagnosed with? not that I know much about dieseses but if that is because of the B12 deficiency then, he was following a bad vegan diet. he was ought to get good source of B12 from nutrional yeast or B12 fortified food.
A high animal fat diet is much preferable and much natural. We have been living for 10000s of years mostly on animal diet, you cant change it in a few generation what our body was destined to thrive on. Nothing but the fact that your diet is missing in b vitamins should tell you that its not natural. But of course you are free to experiment. I wish you the best. :)
@nocomments38 Yeah well there is the wai diet that is completely raw but they are eating a bit of animal too and they are saying the same thing as you and even more magical things like healing from all kind of sickness.
well it is true that vegan diet is actually good for some diseases as noted in the American Dietetic Association. or you can even find a video here on youtube where fox news or some news showing that person diagnosed with heart disease got better after simply changing to a vegan diet.
Plants are nothing but sugar? really? well, I really dont know. that really cant be true because I already lived only on plants for 8 months. it MUST have nutrients otherwise I would be dead within like 1 month or get really sick but I feel better after 8 months or so. do you know Dr T Collin Campbell? some anti vegans say he is wrong but I dont think so. he is advocating for plant based diet and pretty famous nutritional scientist in the field of plant based diet.
yeah i told you I dont know much about nutritions unless I do research on it. But plants must provide enough nutrients for humans to survive for more than 8 months then. otherwise Id be dead by now.
@nocomments38 Yeah i did a lot of research before on nutrition and the problem with sugar is that its playing with your insulin levels while fat and protein dont trigger insulin response. But its a complicated matter and there are a lot of debate on it. Nothing is sure for the moment its for everyone to decide what to believe. I see more common sense in the paleo diet than in the vegan, personally.
@Ducky888888 You should really learn what an opinion is. There evidence backing up vegetarian and vegan diets is everywhere, and shown to be much healthier, do some research before spewing out your half baked indoctrinated opinions, o i mean "facts" lmao.
@TheDeviantGamer I think i owe you an apology. @JoshuaFVrooman ah ok lol... I have encountered some pretty pushy people when it comes to such things. I came to this decision calmly, on my own, by doing research. Wish more people would look into it though :)
@JaclynGlenn I really should have phrased that differently, really wasn't directing it at you one bit.
I had the same issues with animal rights activists. And thinking back to why I became a vegetarian I often make the joke "I'm not a vegetarian because I love animals, I just really hate plants."
I definitely wish more people looked into it, but... to each their own.
i eat alot of meat, and i like being a heavy set person, but i am more concerned about my health than aesthetic beauty and personal preference, but are you not missing key nutrients like protien and other nutrients that primarily regulate blood flow, energy, and white blood cell development? i don't think it's a good idea to abondon either meat or your "veggies". there's a reason the FDA has meat as a part of the food pyramid. and fuck animals, a bear would eat you if it was hungry.
@r0b0tj0n3s Meat based diet is definately the healthiest. Vegetarians and vegans usually take suppliments. Don't let them lie to you and say otherwise. Meat along with veggies and fruit is the healthiest diet.

Look through my videos looser"
@Hungrybear9562 i draw the line in your wifes pussy you old fat cunt just cuz u watched a couple of rainbows doesnt mean your some kind of internet hero so go eat some shit you cocksucker and for any 1 that thinks thats harsh you should of seen the comment he sent me he thinks if you dont have youtube vids you dont have a life you make me fucking sick
@sunnycoast4558 You have a problem with people having their own opinion. I'm not a huge fan of Hungrybear9562 but he isn't an asshole, he's one of the few people in the world that are actually inspiring. He isn't me so I don't agree with everything but I also don't flip my lid when he has his own opinions, he's his own person. YOU make me sick. Leave him and anyone with their own opinion alone.
With less people like you in the world we would have better days.
You are a model, for people who are lazy and see their delight for meat-taste as not made by society. I feel a little strange, that people can't see how many good vegetarian dishes there are without any taste of meat. Take 6 paprika (slice em). 3 oniones (hashed). || Onions with some garlic into a frying pan || short frying in little oil || Add paprika || Fry || Add glass of water || Add 4 potatoes in 1/4 pieces || salt, pepper || cover for 30 min || Add soy sauce (4 spoons) || have fun ;D
@tobymays um... thanks... I had no clue that I had a vertebrae. I guess they don't teach that in medical schools anymore :( And, yes, it can be synthesized in our bodies. However, there is still no vitamin D "in" the UV from sunlight. The UV simply converts the cholesterol percursors (obtained from our diet) into D3. It does not magically appear from the sun.
@tobymays No, I don't see how it is a problem... In one situation animals are killed, and in the other they aren't. I wouldn't quite call that the same end result.
And now I will show you all what a flaming nerd I am: There is not vitamin D "in" sunlight. You get the building blocks of vitamin D in food (cholesterol), and the UV rays in sunlight convert them to cholecalciferol (D3).
Why all the substitutes? I started as a vegetarian 3 years ago, but you can easily do it without tofu and ''bacon'', but it's all about the flavor right. Well I don't like the flavor of dead animals in my mouth. You can just check every day if you get the protein, iron or vitamin B, D, E you need. It is really easy actually, fruit contains small amounts of iron, sun gives you vitamins etc. I mean, you dont need all the fancy tofu, you just do it because it is ''good'' that is why people eat meat
Another great book to check out is "The Sexual Politics of Meat" by Carol J. Adams. Definitely going to subscribe and keep up with you on Facebook! I love being a vegetarian! :D

I don't quite recall ... thing being she for a while did ALL of the cooking.
And at first it was good, I was suitably impressed!
But after a while it all started tasting kind of the same.
Tasty & all but getting kind of repetitive ... & I hate to say but a tad boring?
& I would find myself fantasising about red meat.
& then she dumped me.
And the moral of this story?

@sunnycoast4558 You have a problem with people having their own opinion. I'm not a huge fan of Hungrybear9562 but he isn't an asshole, he's one of the few people in the world that are actually inspiring. He isn't me so I don't agree with everything but I also don't flip my lid when he has his own opinions, he's his own person. YOU make me sick. Leave him and anyone with their own opinion alone.
With less people like you in the world we would have better days.

So you are veggie because you don't want to kill animals? Who cries for the plants? Plants have souls, where do you draw the line and why?

Yea then I got nothing more to say. You ruined the discussion. Or I just didn't touch a nerve. Sometimes it works.

@sHenk1990 meat is awesome!! I will never become a vegetarian or vegan.

Another great book to check out is "The Sexual Politics of Meat" by Carol J. Adams. Definitely going to subscribe and keep up with you on Facebook! I love being a vegetarian! :D
