@anglerfly Unfortunately, I have no idea who made it. I didn't see a manufacture's plate on the ride nor was it on the NCA (National Carousel Association) website.
What a rude ride operator. I know he's doing his job, but he could be more polite about it. Not only did he ruin the ride for those riding, he ruined this video.
@ofelixdacat Yeah, but most of the blame rests with the woman on the ride that didn't understand or listen to the instructions given before she boarded the ride.
@woodencoasterfan I use to work at a theme park and I know how guest dont like to follow instructions, but that's not an excuse to be rude to them. Good customer service is about handling rude or stupid guest in a polite manor, so theyll come back. Hearing this ride operator with his rude tone of voice doesnt make me want to spend tons of my hard earned $ to visit Seaworld. When I visited WDW, most of the Employees were pretty rude & uninterested in their jobs. Rudeness must be a Florida thing.
@ofelixdacat Well, it's not just a Florida thing unfortunately. I've experienced the same at Six Flags Magic Mountain north of Los Angeles, CA and Six Flags over Texas in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area as well.
@woodencoasterfan I think at any theme park where it is hot, the employee's will be cranky. Obviously, if the employee's don't like their job then it's the company's fault and it's up to them to do something about it. Unhappy employee's don't attract happy customers.
Well, unfortunately, some people don't listen to the instructions that are broadcast over the speakers. Then there are the people that have to be told three and four times.
Its all done due to safty. You must have all seatbelts fasened. Sitting up right. No sitting backwards or side saddleing. For standing parents they must be in between 2 sea creatures at all times. This ride operator is doing a great job looking out for peoples safty. And yes people do not listen to the broadcats and that is why you hear what you hear.
I agree, it's all for safety's sake. I've been going to amusement/theme parks across the country for many years and I've seen some people do some really bone headed things. The worst of which is people taking video cameras on roller coasters without permission. I myself have a few on ride videos, but that was done with permission.
I stop people who try and video tape on the rides. And if they dont stop I either escort them off the ride or not start the ride until the issue is settled.. Unless I am told otherwise by management.
You're a good person. I myself was walking around Sheikra at BGA when I heard a noise. Turns out, it was a $500 razor phone that fell out of someones pocket on Sheikra. The phone shattered into about 50 pieces when it hit the track.
Yeah I can immagine. Did you see my new Manta video? I flimed it duirng the media day event when my coaster club was there. You'll find it on my channel as well as a bunch of videos from SWO, BGA, USO, IOA, WDW, CGAP and other parks from across the country.
THIS IS LIKE LOOKING INTO THE UNDERWATER SEA AQUARIUM WITH LITTLE RIDERS, LIKE IN CARTOONS~;
