Actually, this isn't their only collaboration. They also recorded Brass Ivory and Strings. I have this album ( brass on ivory) and absolutely love it.

I had this fine album, along with a Doc album which had great versions of Gethsemane and the theme from the movie Portnoy's Complaint. I wish I never trashed my old vinly collection.

it's so funny.. I have this original album.. I love listening to the tiny scratches and the old record sounds... My father and I used to listen to it together...great taste you have.

Thank you so much for posting. I have the sheet music to the song Brass on Ivory arranged by Tony Esposito. I play it on Tenor Sax but its beautiful with Doc's Flugel. I never heard it until you posted it. This is beautiful stuff !
