It's just a movie, and everyone knows T-Rex would have killed Spino with the first blow to the neck. Hollywood just wanted to try a new dino and it failed.

Spino sucked, the Raptors werent as good, The cast was terrible besides sam neil, ...

Spinosaurus live in south america and T-rex lived in north america. They never met and were designed for severly different environments they each lived in their niche as top predators. Spinosaurus was potentially longer but T-Rex was more robust and more likely hunted in packs. Not htat they'd ever meet but due to those facts I'd say T-Rex would most likely win a fight, the heavier animal is usually the victor when predators fight.
