The passion is difficult to see because we are severely outnumbered. There is also the individualism and ego to get passed. I do think we can work towards common goals but I think those are some of the reasons we don't have drive. We need better PR, advertising and marketing. LOL.

I fully agree with your main point here. I've been working on doing exactly as you propose. Nobody IRL who knows me has failed to hear my views. Every night at work I have my symbol and a quote on my coffee cup, and I'll talk about what I believe to anybody who'll stand still. I do it because I believe these ideas need to be spread. This is a big part of what I live for.
When enough of us do this, it'll reach a critical mass. Then, perhaps, we can be free and rebuild our future.

What I think is interesting, is the more passion you have in anything the more your probability of being labeled crazy. I think the religion part is a subtext of passion amongst others like athletics, country, law, sex, military, etc.
I don't necessarily believe passion and drive are the same thing, though they are cousins. I think drive is the slave of a goal, whatever that may be. I have drive, but it is confused with passion when I speak. I want a brighter, more intelligent citizen.-CONT-

In a society controlled by what is not in the interests of its members, accurate thought is a downright threat. Accurate thought can *only* lead to a desire to change, what is benefitting them.
