I saw a video of another DP singer the other day David Coverdale and dispite all the years of excess with boozing, womanising and facelifts that have went badly wrong he has still good voice compared to old Gillan

I know he was a moody bugger at the best of times but I think that Blackmore might have had a point about replacing Gillan with someone who can still do justice to the songs. If they replace him which I think is probably unlikely then if it was up to me I would aproach someone like Paul Rogers who is at least still a pretty good singer.

Gillan is at the end of his carreer .. J saw DP 9 times and is voice is now completely corrupted. The song is the best song I ever heard...

Even allowing for the fact that live concerts never really come across fully on film or audio, have to say that this is a new low for the band.

They were my heroes, but wouldn't cross the road to watch them now.

A good band who needs a singer. Whats that whimpy squeal he does now? His vibrato is old, hes flat and pushing as hard as his old voice will go, and it doesnt go anymore. Its embarrasing. Airey just doesnt have the awe factor, neither Morse. Gillan does his best to destroy the guitar solo. Cant believe anyone like this. A parody, pointless, and painful. Please retire boys, or get a new singer.
