  • what do you get for beating him

  • As a old gamer of the series this will never be what happened...Way to go Enix for using this bullshit..Dalton is to weak and never this strong,he was a comic character nothing more. TO ALL YOUNG FANS AND NON-PURIEST THIS WILL NEVER BE!!!!!SQUARE-ENIX AND DALTON EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Eternal Darkness

  • Seriously, it'd be pretty awesome if Square decided to actually make a Chrono sequel of sorts that could explain most of this. :D

  • ive got a more fascinating theory about Dalton. it begins with wondering how he ended in this dimensional vortex. he ended here because he failed at evoking Lord Golem. And that distortion he uses to evoke the golems look much like a black hole. if we recall the theory about time travelling by the researchers in Chronopolis, they said that time travelling was managed by opening contained black holes where matter and time would bend. if we consider this

  • ability that dalton has to open black holes and call golems from beyond the Tesseract, then it would make sense for him to be the one to destroy guardia.

  • Haven't played the DS version yet. Wow.

  • are using cheat code or something for magus ,

  • what are you equipping magus with to make him that strong? prism specs?

  • Probably, plus he's got the Doom Sickle, which doubles damage output for every ally who's KO'd.

  • Dalton? DALTON??? And all this time I thought Lynx destroyed Guardia..like it's his hand grabbing the masamune in the anime ending. This is...just balls.

  • This is so stupid. This was terribly done, Dalton was one of the stupidest comic relief characters ever created. They should have had someone else be the mastermind behind Guardia's fall or at least give him something like Masamune BEFORE Guardia's fall to explain how he caused it to happen.

Logically speaking, Crono and Marle ALONE could take out an army of super advanced robots. They took out incredibly powerful ones in both 2300 AD and Antiquity.

  • I agree, but if you think about it, Dalton's the only real villain left unaccounted for in the original so it'd have to be him. Marle and Crono took out those robots, but they were expecting them. Plus, who's to say Dalton didn't find a way to use technology to disrupt their powers? There's too much we don't know and we probably never will.

  • They could have easily done changes in the Remake considering Trigger was ported to the PS1 and then Cross was made. I was hoping the DS version would shed light on HOW the events occurred in the extra endings but instead it was more worthless ambiguity that we've been shoved for so many damn years now. This part of the game in the video just shows they completely forgot there was a story or were too lazy to give it any real effort.

I hate Dalton, he's almost as bad as that bitch Schala.

  • Schala and Lavos fused together and she had that pendent that Marle had. When they encountered it reacted and sent Marle and Chrono to the beginning of time and they werent there for the downfall.

  • Dalton is a wimp. I agree with operations1000 Dalton should have no music as he is so stupid.

  • WTF? Dalton gets the epic boss fight music? He's so weak though....

  • Magus mopped the floor with Dalton! =P

  • Not very intellegent, is Dalton?

  • Dalton does NOT deserve that music!

  • Wow. It's hard to think that someone as pathetic as DALTON can really be the cause of Guardia's fall!

  • Thank you, It must be said.

  • holy crap dalton must of took steroids or sumthing cuz last time i fought him he was frikken easy. Now hes all like arnold swartzanaeger o_o

  • The dog yelps.

    Ooh, put down.

  • that's our magus :D

  • Ah! ... So the theory about Porre entity being Dalton has just been confirmed... sweet xD.

  • imo, SquareEnix = Dalton

  • Absolutely, which would indicate SquareEnix are douches :P

  • Dalton...?! He's the mysterious 'force beyond time' who caused Guardia to... that's interesting.

And here I always thought he was an amusing, if sometimes violent braggart along the lines of Biff Tannen. Hm! That's very interesting, indeed.

  • Wow, Luminaire and Dark Matter... and btw, what level was your Lucca?! He like 2-shotted her! LMAO Anyway...

WOW, I never would have guessed, DALTON of all people was the one behind the Porre invasion. I guess he did get his last laugh... I mean sometimes people think stuff like that is stupid and a bad move, but I think it was brilliant on Square-Enix's part that they were trying to connect CT and CC, CC's storyline didn't make sense at all. (It still kind of doesn't though :/ )

  • How did Dalton make it to the future, if he is, indeed, responsible for Guardia's downfall? More importantly, how did you get this to play on an emulator? I didn't think any DS emulators were capable of running the ROM for this game on a PC.

  • Plus the way he said things was too stupid.

I'll make an army in Porre and bite you in the ass!!!!

  • WAIT... A... FLIPPIN... SECOND!? Dalton is the one behind Porre overthrowing Guardia!? That !@#$!%^

  • That's just a theory. Nothing has been confirmed yet.

  • Okay, I just finished the video so I retract my statement and replace it with "WTF?!"

  • Jhonny's theme on Dalton? -_-

  • Dalton? Come on..

  • I know huh..fricken A this guy needs a life lol.

  • OMFG ITS DALTON :D

  • Oh, and...honestly, these were such poorly thought up and horrible ways to try and connect CT to CC. S-E didn't even try here...Dalton? Come on...

  • Holy shit...what is Magus's level? O_o

  • i bet the programmers went into Chrono Conpendium and stole that theory LOL

  • How underwhelming, Squaresoft couldn't be bothered to do anything but add a few sentences in some attempt to sell the game...

  • SquareEnix...

  • I just saw this earlier today! He was in the second vortex I went in.

  • Good point, I played in the order 1000AD, 12,000BC, 2300AD, so that makes a difference.

  • @FaustWolf I heard there are 5 of them. Could you tell me where they are exactly, please?

  • @ChampionRevilo You mean the dimensional vortices? Check out the Chrono Trigger DS FAQs at GameFAQs, I'm sure you'll find your info there.

  • The dog yelps. HAR HAR HAR

  • WTF?? Dalton causes the Fall of Guardia!?!? I...I would never have imagined something like this.

  • It was actually a theory on Chrono Compendium for a looooong time.

  • Oh, and, the developers said the Rise of Porre was due to an external force or something like that. Thus...

  • yup, ya gotta hand it to the compendium. they were spot on.

  • AHHHHHHH!

The Rise of Porre, due to Dalton?!?!

    AHHHHHHHHHH!!!

  • Holy crud, he's actually a threat!

  • The Fall of Guardia, explained.

  • Ugh, sound's un-synced again.
