my best friend/doggy was a newfie. he was hit by a car two days ago and didnt make it. he was 12 years old which is super long for a newfie to live. that dog had so much character. looks just like this one. his name was Buddy. Newfies are the best dogs there are. he was more of a brother to me. this made me kinda sad, cute video though.

My dog had a very difficult time after our cat passed away last year. You can tell she mourned like I did. She'd look for him and howl, like she used to when they would play. Animals are sooo smart. (look up "Making the Rounds with Oscar" (the cat) on youtube. AMAZING story!!!!

My ragdoll kittens Maggie and Merlin love to get on the back of the wing chair that my Chihuahua sleeps on and sit patiently until the dog is asleep. Then they kamakazi onto her head! Poor dog haha. She takes it in stride but once in a while she puts them in check. They are the most gentle breed I have seen but also the most mischievous.
This is so adorable! My boyfriend and I are eventually get a Newfoundland when we get a house together. This video helped convince him to get a Ragdoll too. ;) lol
Ha..so cute! My newf, who is only 6 months old, is TERRIBLE with my cats! I was a live in nanny and the family that I worked for had a hunting down that taught my dog, Summer, to chase animals....oooh boy. She will run after the cats, and throw her paw on them, and even bite them, not hard though, just enough to get their fur wet. The cats fight back though, and its funny as hell! ..Summers is into EVERYTHING!
Yes i have a newfoundland and they are truly the nicest dog you can get. They are more gentle than any other dog even a golden retriever. If you have kids this is the dog to get. They will NEVER bite
newfoundlands and bernese mountain dogs! best temperments by far! golden retreivers are actually number 3 on the biters list! and bernese mainly because they were bred with the newfoundland in the 1800's to increase size and temperament
