If you dont have traction, you make it yourself. :) I would love to see civilian offroaders go through our "pussy military trainingarea"... The hardest tracks here can seriously injure or kill a driver. Any vehicle without tracks would not stand a chance. And to be honest, I can't take on every hill there with the BV, because Im not skilled enough to drive the hardest tracks. So it all comes down to the driver. Thats my point.

This video gives a poor impression of the BV206. This is mostly flat land and soft slopes. BV206 can cross almost any slope and heavy terrain. Its only the guts of the driver that stops this vehicle, not the vehicle itself. I drive these often, and everytime I expect failure, the BV rips through and dissapoints me yet again! :D I just love it!

I´ve seen this kind of vehicle being stoped by some ice and step slopes, so you cant say that it is unstopable. Sorry :)

Simple: Driver error. :) Thats the problem. The BV is only as good as its driver.

If you dont agree, it only proves that you: A) Never driven one in your whole life. B) Never pushed your own limits when driving it. In any case, if "Yeeaahh right ;)" is the best argument you can come up with, it only proves one thing... consider yourself owned. ;)

Yes you´r right. So, now what :) One thing i know is that if you dont have any tracktion(ice) whatever you do, you wont get up the hill. This is what i saw in an offroad track(not a pussy military trainingarea). It ended that the wehicle had to run over a lot of trees to get out of the forrest. My point is that it is stopable, sorry.

I saw one of these at the Tan Hill Inn in Yorkshire, painted a bright orange. I would have loved to have been in it. You'ed need one of these to get through the Yorkshire countryside.

Unfortunately the Nasu's suck compared to the Pankku (BV206). I had was lucky enough to drive these BV206 babies in my service time at Sodankylä :)

lol, the bv206 is in service in the swe. army sice ages.

And btw, it has absolutely no protection what so ever, in deffrence to the bv206s, u can kill the crew of it with a 9mm pistol if u whant.

However its mobility is quite hard to beat ^^.

the 308 is the swe. armys name of the bv206s so yes that is the armoured one :)

In its defence its not to ride into battle though. Its purely transport... and left at the FAP. Its really good as a non combatantvehicle, like medictansport.

well, the 206s or the new version S10 is armoured and adapted for combat. As a infantry vehicle ofc, since its often only amred with a .50cal machinegun (at most) and mostly use for transport yes :)
