You can't blame the devs for not seeing the movie. However, what destroyed that particular game for me were the controls. And it's a bit weird, since Nightmare Creatures (running on the same engine, made by the same company) was way better in every aspect.

This is literally one of the best movies ever made. Most people won't be able to realize that, but that's okay. Sadly though it seems like this game is generally hated simply for it's poor controls among other things.

I have a sealed copy that I got for about $20 or so on Ebay, and it's one of my prized items in my collection but I want to open it so bad! Gotta resist the urge...

Also, I don't know if you know it, but there is a stuff to jump on around 3:56 that lead you to a secret place with bonus (up's etc), don't know how to say it.. That said, I remember that there is one that I can't access because I don't know where to go, it's frustrating, so I think I'll check all the video's about this game ^^, same for the level I'm stuck at the beginning. That said, it's true that it's quite a cheesy game, but it's a ps1 game anyway..

I agree with some comments, that wasn't that great, but i enjoyed it too since I love futuristic things too. Otherwise, yes, the movie is really nice^^! Ooooh, I actually have this game too ^^!! I remember I had a code to access any level I wanted lol, but I think I was stuck at some levels and wasn't able to reach the end.. Or maybe I don't remember how it ends, well.. This is a fun game, but I found it was missing something, I don't remember what exactly. After have bought the tame, I really wanted to buy the movie since I like science fiction and futuristic stuff, it's exiting, and I really enjoyed the movie, it's funny, entertaining, nice..

means destroying earth. elementals are godsends ment to protect earth at all costs. this is going to be more realistic. the damage you have will stay with you. and if you get hurt bad enough you have to make deals with either the agnels or the demons, depending on which storymode you choose, to companste for loss of limbs and the better you do in the deal the better the compansation is. my character is an elemetal who has the ability to control lightning. thats my profile pic:)

Otherwise, yes the controls are not great and the game could have be been better but well, that's a ps1 game anyway.. I game I very like was spyro the dragon, that was nice, I wanted to buy the other games, like the game for the ps2, since I have one, but I'm not in video games anymore, since i stress too easily lol, ..

This game is considered as a failure by the fans of the movie. I'm fan of the Fifth Element but the game is pretty enjoyable even if the plot is totally messed up. I should complain about how Leeloo looks in this game. Well, she looks like Lara Croft (that exaggerated hourglass body shape) wearing orange helmet (no motion of hair) and ace bandage costume. The voices of characters are repetitive and there's no speech... A little boring...
