Jungle is generally reggae or hiphop oriented, and is programmed in 4/4. IDM is more experimental rhythmically and melodically. I usually use breakcore as an interchangeable term for IDM, because you don't have to be "intelligent" to enjoy music, it's universal. :)

you know...posting a video with a speaker where is played a tune... you coulded just upload the mp3 or make a picture slideshow with this mp3 on background. this sounds shitty as quality,maybe you don't have a pro microphone incorporated in your cam.

IDM is so awesome because it's such a broad genre with so much room for free expression. It's not tied down by much. It can be hard and industrial sounding like breakcore or soft and lovely like downtempo IDM it's just so limitless :) It can have other instruments if it wants too, or vocals. I want to make vocal IDM if anyone is interested! I play nylon-string guitar too.
