hey good work man, my son has been using my 12 ounces for a while, i got him 6 ounces and the speed difference was amazing, also the power. You guys might think how much power has a kid got? but when they throw punches they hit harder than some adults i know who dont have technique. I would say definately keep the heavier gloves. good work little man, keep it up.
