yeah but i heard the people especially the vendors can be very nasty. they wont let u touch the merchandise and ask u to leave if ur not buying. pretty much like what u saw in bourdains "no reservation " where the lady vendor was fuming mad beause they wouldnt just buy and take off.

'yah you're right....vendors in hk irate easily ...once u touched their stuffs and you will not going tobuy it, you're dead on their armalite mouth....lol

Dead skinned rabits is nothing.. I used to live there as a teenager and I used to see them skinning snakes in the street in Wan Chai.. I guess once you saw it once you kinda got over it.. It is a shock and there is a lot of blood everywhere..

Westerners like their slaugtherhouses hidden out of sight, and they accept packaged meat more readily.
Asians prefer their meat fresh, unpackaged.

Im scared of hong kong markets. The last time I went to one I saw dead skinned rabbits hanging off the side of someones stall. It scared me to death.
