Hi Zenta, sorry to keep asking you question.

I'm just curious how you make the motion so fluid, I've implemented IK

on my phoenix as well, but the motion still rough.

Could you please have a look at my thread in trossen : humanoid and walker?

It's been 2 days and no one answer it. :-(

  • @gonzo110391 I'm sorry but I can't help you much here. You are using another platform than what I'm, or more correct Jeroen Janssen (aka Xan) is using in his Phoenix basic code for Atom Pro. You might get more help posting in the Lynxmotion forum. Also post all your code would help. If you're lucky Kurt Eckhardt (aka kurte on the forum) has some more experience using the ATMega.

Anyway, when it comes to smooth movement the key is correct timing and often small steps in movement.

  • @ZentaOlbaid

Zenta, what's the difference between balance mode 1 and 2 anyway?

From the video i think balance 1 work on 3D and balance 2 still 2D.

    Thanks

  • Beautifully done! I just recently bought a Bioloid kit and joined the Trossen forums. I wonder if it's possible to get the King Spider to be this graceful? One can only hope.

    See you around the forums!

  • That song is amazing. lol just kidding. that is absolutely amazing. Did you go to college for this or just figure it out by doing it yourself? Either way truly amazing work. The functionality of the robot and what it can do and how precisely you can control it is astounding. i like how you can switch between movement control and then go to individual leg and leaning control. You have my respect.

  • this is absolutely amazing work, i was just wondering about how much you have spent on this project, it doesn't have to be an exact amount just a ball park

  • Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about spent money or time? LOL. Many many hours. This a hobby of mine so I don't count the money but I would guess around 3K USD for all mine robots.

  • Very interesting project Zenta. Good job. Best

  • Once again really need work Zenta! I love how smooth it walks around! The tripod is really funny ;)

    Keep up the good work!

    Xan

  • Thanks Xan!

I always enjoy working with your excellent code Xan. Phoenix has become a true robot community project. Using your words: Share, Use and Improve!
