WOW I cant remember how many times I bumped this album when it came out, even in the midst of Illmatic's dominance and Prodigy of Mobb deep's emergence and Gangstar's innovation this album was still in heavy rotation amongst the purists in NY OC may not have the recognition and the material success like his 90's renaissance compatriots but he was a definite contributor to the art who gave us a classic LP,

this is one of my all time fav tracks! I have played this song on my itunes well over 2,000 times. I played my tape so much it popped and i had to ebay it to get a new tape and then i paid another $45 for a import CD. This LP is a 5 mic classic for life!

This a good example of how simple and beautifull rap beats where in the 90's. Yet lyrically complex. Sometimes I listen to this old rap and think man when I was a teenager this is how rap was. This type of stuff was common. We didn't think anything of it at the time. Man, I hope hip hop gets itself together I miss this stuff......................
